A “Dead” End

What are you doing, leave my baby….. please I will do whatever you want, just give me back my baby. He slapped her and pushed her away roughly but she kept coming back for her child…… finally having had enough of this back and forth, he stabbed her ... repeatedly, till her body gave up all fight and fell down…….indicating there is no more life left in her…. He brought the child to the address he was given……It was a weird place, a cross between a mad scientist’s laboratory and a prison cell…. Suddenly a “voice” sounded through an intercom, placed on far, left wall. Give the baby to the doctor. The man did as he was told and handed the baby over to the man in the lab coat. Doctor, said the voice, please see to it that this man is given his dues…   The man got very excited, anticipating the riches he would receive……feeling no guilt or remorse over the woman he had murdered or the baby he was selling. One minute he was dreaming about money and the very next minute he was dead, a bullet hole gaping in the centre of his head…..   I have cleared all his dues sir, said the doctor to “the voice”……. Now, who do we have here?, asked the voice through the intercom. The doctor did a quick check and informed the voice, it’s a girl sir…… hummm, said the voice…. Her name will be Sarah…..
