Jane was 12 years old when her parents died in a car accident leaving behind her and her older brother, Mike, 16. Since then, her brother took up her responsibility. Although she missed her parents sometimes, she never felt alone. After the accident, they relocated to a small town that supposedly harboured some unearthly mysteries. She had only heard about a pack of werewolves living in the forest beginning on the edge of their town until she met one. The girl had her entire life turned upside down when her brother got brutally murdered by a WEREWOLF. That was not the first time a human was murdered by werewolves. It seemed the pack was on a killing spree. The unfortunate incident filled Jane with rage and now all that she craved was Revenge. The revenge on the king of the pack. The revenge on the ALPHA himself. She did not know who had killed his brother but was sure that it couldn’t have been done without Alpha's approval. She made a promise to his dead brother that she will lacerate his murderer to pieces even if it meant the end of her own life. Moving forward, on her quest, she meets a very attractive and strong man who she believed would help her in taking down the Alpha. However, her hopes and expectation come down crashing when she realizes his true identity.

She has no idea that Alpha is her Mate and the man she is counting on is not who she thinks him to be.

Life Before Meeting Him
JANE POV  “Wake up you sleepyhead. Don’t you have school today?” Mike said while drawing the drape to one side. A stream of light filtered into my white and pink-walled room. “Shut the drape, please. I’ll get up in five” I pleaded and pulled the duvet up to my head. After a moment, I felt the duvet sliding off me. I looked up and saw my brother leaning onto me. “No, get up now and see how beautiful today’s morning is,” he said cheerfully. I knew he was not going to let me sleep so, I sat up reluctantly ‘Okay tell me what is so beautiful about today’s morning? It is the same sun, same view.” Mike upped the window’s door giving way to sweet heart-soothing breeze, “ Jane, just because we witness something every day doesn’t mean it is not beautiful. And remember, life is the best gift bestowed upon us so we should enjoy and appreciate each moment of it!” he preached. “Yes, yes I know,” I said irritatingly. I don’t know for some reason, he laughed at my reaction and said, "I have made you pancakes. Come down fast” and with that, he stepped out of the room. I threw the duvet on one side and shot a glance out of the window. A smile escaped my lips. Mike was right, the view was indeed beautiful and so was our life. My brother had seen a lot of struggle in his life and yet, he called it beautiful. We moved to this town shortly after our parents’ death. We were yet to come to the terms with our parents' death. I grieved the loss but he suffered it. He was shattered but the only thing he handed me down was strength. He never let me see his pain fearing I would break too. Coming to this town was a decision he had made out of helplessness. Not long after our parents' demise, we ran out of money so Mike and I had to vacate the house as the rent was too much to cover for us. He must have felt really stressed at that time. He left me at one of my friend’s house and disappeared for some days. I can say that those were the loneliest days of my life. But after a few days, he came back and brought me to this town. Initially, I resented him for bringing me to this godforsaken town and tearing me away from all my friends but then I begin to take a liking to the town. The serenity and natural beauty of this place helped me heal. The winds of this town carry some kind of magic and yeah, I love my brother very much. “Oh s**t, I am gonna get late today for the school,” the realization broke me away from my thoughts. I picked the towel and rushed to the bathroom.    “There is no doubt in it, he is crazy about you miss Shirley” I teased her. Shirley is my BFF. I met her on the first day of my school and since then we have been together through thick and thin. “Maybe he likes you. How can you be so sure,” she blushed. “Oh my god, you like him too” I shrieked. For a second I had forgotten that we were walking along the corridor full of people. She shhhusd me but I was not going to let go of it. “Why don’t you break the ice and talk to him?” I said. “No, I am not even sure if he actually likes me,” she doubted. “Come on, he likes you. Why do you think he always sits behind you in classes and keeps staring at you like a psycho. Seriously, man,” I asserted. Shirley did not reply but her smile was enough to convey her feelings. This is weird how people do stupid things in love and lies to their best friends. SHE WAS LYING TO ME.   We had reached our class by now. It didn’t take us long to realize that something had happened as everyone in the class was looking shocked and scared. They all were talking about some murder. Shirley and I dashed to our group. Dylan, Justin, and Nancy our friends were discussing something intently. “ Hey guys, What’s happening,” Shirley enquired. They looked at us. Nancy replied, “ Did you hear about the body found on the edge of the town?” “Another body?” Shirley and I said in unison as shock gripped us. “Yeah, this is the third in line. The body found was deeply wounded just like the last one. The police call it an attack by some giant animal.” Dylan added. “I don’t think so. It is not an attack by some animal. They have been beaten and bitten brutally. Moreover, all those bodies have been found in the same spot. Why would an animal take the trouble of dragging bodies to the exact spot after murdering them?” Justin questioned. “So what do you think it is?” I asked him nervously. Justin looks at me and says something that makes our blood run cold “ I think these murders are a message for us. All these people found dead were last seen venturing into the forest. Maybe..maybe whoever is doing this doesn’t want us to step into the forest. And I think this is the work of.....” Justin swallowed a lump in his throat and added, “ Werewolves.”  Werewolves? Do they even exist? And even if they do, why were they killing innocent people? How do they look? Everybody used to talk about them but no one had ever seen them. Maybe there is nothing like Werewolves in real life. They are just a part of stories. Lost in thought I did not realize when I reached my house. I unlocked the door and shook the thought of werewolves off my mind not knowing I was going to encounter one very soon.
