Character Sketch Anant Malhotra: He is the stereotype bad boy, but a softy at heart. His mother, whom he hatefully calls by her name Nika, is hell bent on screwing his life, and not letting him get his happiness so she could get her hand on all his property (passed to him by his father) using his weakness and vulnerability. He is in love with Tara Bhatt. Tara Bhatt: She is the quintessential good girl, the one who stands up against the bad boy and later falls in love with him after getting a peak into his heart. Anant has a group of four friends, who together form a band called the famous five; which comprises of Mukta, Aria, Dhrumil, and Karan. Tara has a best friend named Prerna, who is from a small town and is a traditional girl. This story is mainly of the couple Anant and Tara, and their friends who play minor roles. Anant has been falsely accused by his mother of a murder of a psychotic girl, Sona, who is obsessed with him and tried to kill Tara. Tara is the only witness, though she was unconscious. She trusts her instincts that Anant cannot do that, but the manipulation from Nika, makes her believe Anant can get blind in her love and see nothing beyond her, which is why, in the court she testifies saying she was unconscious and doesn’t have any knowledge of what happened.
