It was fair to say Taylors life was anything but pretty

While Taylor had a comfutable life with everything she needed and parents that loved her she felt like there was something missing in her life, her mother at the respectable age of 34 was still haunted by nightmares and burdern by flashbacks of what happened in her youth and thouth they tried everything from sleep medication to counciling nothing seemed to be working and to no fault of her own Taylor couldn't be around her mother during one of her episodes as it reminded her of that terrifying night and the only thing that could calm down her mother was her dad Elliot Walker

Feeling lost and confused and frustrated Taylor makes friends with a girl called Amelia Greyson

But could Amelia have more secrets than shes letting on?

And could Amelia hold the key to finding out Taylor's biological father and the person who r***d her mother?

Taylor: TAYLOR BOUNCED HER LEG, up and down, up and down as she was impatiently waiting for her mother to walk out of the office and drag her away after all she had been in trouble three times this semester and like the principle told her this was the final straw She popped out her earphones out and although she could still hear the faint beat of faint music pulsing through the earphones she looked towards the dark wooden door with the gold engraving on it of Mrs Arabellle Meriweather They should be out by now. She thought As if on cue her mom and dad walked through the mahogany door, her mother walking with a slight purpose to her step and her father walking, well rather trailing behind his wife, putting a reassuring hand on the woman's shoulder and smiling a little at her wound up state -- her father was definitely the more relaxed of the pair and he often wasn't as hot-headed at scolding Taylor than her mother was because he knew it would be hypocritical of him to do so -- after all as a teen he did a lot worse than just bunking off school to buy alcohol and drink it in the park with his friends She knew why her mother was such a hothead when it came to punishments and grounding because she wanted Taylor to have the life she never could and have a better one if she could because no girl should ever go through what her mother went through but it didn't stop herself from feeling like sometimes her mother was being a little unfair with the rules that her mother laid out for her  And this meeting was breaking a rule after all Taylor did promise she would try better with school and that meeting basically declared the exact opposite of what the girl had promised to her mother  Silently the girls blue eyes caught her mothers and all she saw in her mother's eyes was disappointment that she had broken yet another rule and Taylor ducked her head to look at her shoelaces for a moment before speaking "So what did Meriweather give me this time?" Her voice was mumbled and slightly slurred from the alcohol that was still in her system "A weeks suspension with two weeks of detention when you get back" Her father informed her and she shrugged, the girl had, had worse but she was wondering why she hadn't got excluded or something, after all, it was in the school's code of conduct that if you were suspended for a third time within a semester than there would be no more second chances and you were gone. Of course, Taylor hadn't taken this rule to heart having already been suspended thrice already she was sure that this was her last chance so to find out she had only been suspended a fourth time was a little surprising  "What strings did Grandma pull this time?" She asks anger seeping into her voice "Your Grandmother didn't pull any strings" Her mother snapped hotly "She merely reminded the school board of your position at home and that it has not been easy for yo---" Her mother was cut off by Taylor yelling "NO! IT'S NOT BEEN EASY FOR YOU -- BECAUSE YOU CAN'T LOOK AT YOUR OWN CHILD WHEN YOU HAVE ONE OF YOUR EPISODES SO DON'T YOU f*****g THINK ABOUT TURNING THIS AROUND ON ME" By the time she had finished her mini-rant the teen was furious and had tears pricking around her eyes and everyone in the office heads turned to see what the yelling was about but when they saw it was just Taylor Philips and her family they went back to work, this being a regular occurrence for them  Not surprisingly seconds later the teen popped back in her earphones and stormed out of the office into the frigid New York air. The mother tried to reach out and grab her but she ducked under her arm and ran out of the room, leaving the mother helpless and frozen finally after a few minutes, the man placed a hand on her shoulder "She'll come back Mel, she just needs to calm down," Elliot says calmly "Will she Elliot?" The blonde headed women retorted *** Still seething from the argument with her mother Taylor walked down the streets blasting music playing through the headphones, the older teenager wasn't looking where she was going as she went down the street, too wrapped up in her thoughts as she weaved in and out of the bustling people  Of course, she bumped into someone by accident and ended up stumbling back a few steps before she caught her self. The people around her gave her odd looks but she just glared back making people go on their merry way and leave her alone Taylor turned her head back to the direction where she had been pushed back ready to snap at whoever it was that bumped into her even though deep down she knew it wasn't their fault, whoever it was because she wasn't looking where she was going but hell if she was going to admit that she was already in a pissed off mood because of her mother, she knew she should be more supportive at this time but she couldn't help but be a little ticked off. It was hard seeing your mother look at you like you were her destruction, her undoing, her mistake and don't get Taylor wrong she adored and she loved her mother for giving her a decent life and she knew the same was true of her mother, it just got a bit tense at times But when Taylor turned around; no one was there She quickly whirled around knowing the person couldn't have got far and in the distance, she saw a mop of curly blonde hair which fell down her back in perfect ringlets and just as Taylor was about to turn back around she swear she saw the mysterious blond girl turn around and wink at her Unsure that the wink was meant for her Taylor carried down the street every so often glancing down at her shoelaces after looking behind her
