A Bite of Love

Menerva's Pov "Beeeep Beeeep Beeeep Beeeep" was all I could hear from my very annoying alarm.  Waking up at 5:00 a.m. was taking a toll on my body, even though this was an everyday routine. "Ugh." I groaned as I hit the stop button and lazily slipped on my bunny slippers.  Bunny slippers, I know, cliche right?  Well that's the only thing that stops the morning breeze from freezing my feet as I exit my room in the mornings. I felt like I was forgetting something, and I was.  Introduction of me.  My name is Menerva Geen of Vampiric Royalty. No, I wish.  I am Menerva Geen of Humanity.  Otherwise known as just simply Menerva Geen.  No parents, not even a picture of them.  Just me and a whole world of vampires surrounding.  Being human and also living in a vampire's world is something that I have gotten used to. Being a vampire is all that I could ever wish.  Having beautiful big and sharp fangs, and powers is something that I have always wanted.  Considering that all of my surrounding people are vampires, I'd say it's normal for me to want those things.  Who wouldn't want to fit in and be normal like the rest? Humans are simply boring creatures that are so blind to the open world.  Of course, me being human means I'm blind to a lot of things.  The vampires, however filled me with knowledge and educated me just as the would a real vampire.  That does mean going to Vampiric School, and learning magic in remedial classes, despite my lack of powers. *End of Introduction* I slipped out of bed, and stood stretching as I yawned.  Getting my day started would always be the hardest part of mornings.  I lazily walked to my bathroom, and brushed my teeth. After I was done, I hopped in the shower, then brushed through my natural blond hair. "The morning has officially started." I said to myself.
