Survival of the damed

The zombie virus was not what you would expect when you think of how horror movies , novels and comics made them to be. It happened during flu season a viral outbreak left unnoticed for the first few months then gradually the news and Drs began to notice . The media would latter name it Coven what began as nothing more than the common flu would morph and become a bronchial infection then the latter aerosol contagion. From there you had three options become super sick and die , be infected and recover or the latter infect reinfection be fine and reinfection die and reanimate. Those that withstood the first two reinfection's would be immune which was awesome when the reanimation began as they could go anywhere without the possibility of being attacked by the reanimated. The humans not infected fine uninfected were not as lucky sure there were a few who could fight off the undead and would eventually find the immune. Mostly they just became food for the unrelenting whordes of undead. Those of us left immune and uninfected are now left few in numbers just trying to survive
