Undefeated Mother

1.      Unknown POV  Felicity, Cassius, Marble. Felicity, Cassius, Marble. Felicity, Cassius, Marble. Those were the only words on my mind, I didn’t know where I was or who I was. My whole world evolved around those three words. My legs carried me for months and I had no idea where I was going. Felicity, Cassius, Marble. Felicity, Cassius, Marble. Felicity, Cassius, Marble.   “STOP RIGHT THERE!” I heard someone say something to me, I tried to ask for help, but I couldn’t form any words, any except for the three I have been repeating for months. A man approached me with a sword and held it to my neck, in an instant I moved the sword away and held him by the throat.   “Felicity, Cassius, Marble” I said. “You’re at Marble”.   His eyes were filled with fear and determination, I didn’t realise I was towering over him. I threw him to the side and carried on walking.   Kilian POV: I was in my office trying to organise the party when I got a mind link from one of my patrols.   “Alpha, there’s a man on the grounds, we couldn’t stop him” Jason sounded panicked. “What does he want?”  I wasn’t that bothered by a breach as more and more homeless rogues started turning up at Marble in the last few months. “He wants Cassius…. and the Luna”.   My heart froze, hearing that someone was after my son filled me with dread. He was the only heir to Marble who carried royal blood. Four years so when the Council and the other Alphas found out that his mother was a Roya, l was expecting attacks but no one dared. They respected me and to my surprise they wanted an alliance with my pack, they wanted to protect him and now someone was trying to take him.   Jason also mentioned the Luna. My wife left me four years ago, or I guess I left her after she rejected me. She gave birth to our son and rejected me! I haven’t seen her since, so why did someone want her now, she wasn’t even at Marble. I ran towards out of the Estate only to be met with Seth, my Beta.   “What is going on? Oscar is going wild” his wolf never used to come out only when it was necessary, this wasn’t a good sign. “FELICITY, CASSIUS, MARBLE!” we heard a roar come from the back gardens.   Protect pup! Protect our pup! Bane was warning me as I ran towards the gardens.   We were met with a tall man standing in the middle of the garden. He was looking at the ground and he wore shabby clothing. I would say he was homeless and I couldn’t sense a wolf. This was a human, but how did a human get past my patrols.   “FELICITY, CASSIUS, MARBLE” he repeated again. “Oscar is cowering from him, I can’t approach him” Seth admitted. “I can” Bane was an Alpha and even though I sensed a bit of worry he could stand up to the man standing in front of him. “Daddy did you call me?” I turned around to be met with my son standing behind me. His blue eyes filled with wonder. “No, go back inside, quick” I ordered him. “But Boston told me to come down here” Boston was the name of his imaginary friend and to be honest, recently he started listening to Boston more than he was listening to me. “Seth take him” without a second thought he grabbed him and ran back to the Estate.   The figure in front of me started growling and his breathing became more rapid. He had a full beard growing and shoulder length black hair. It looked like he has been though hell, but he was here for a reason. He got angry when Cassius left so it was obvious he was after my son, but since when did humans growl?   “What do you want?” I asked him. “Felicity, Cassius, Marble” he said again.   Hearing my old mate’s name fuelled my anger. I lunged at him and kicked him in the chest but he stood standing. From the floor I looked up at him and I saw bright blue eyes looking at me from underneath his hair. They weren’t angry like the tone of his voice; they were pleading for help.   “MARBLE ATTACK” I commanded my men who had the man surrounded.    If they felt what Oscar felt they would be scared but they couldn’t refuse my command. They piled on him and had him handcuffed within seconds, to my surprise he didn’t fight them and went to the cells without a fuss.   Seth meet me in the cells-  I mind linked him.   Two hours of integrating the man in front of us didn’t work. Neither torture nor wolfbane got any information out of him. “Felicity” he finally said just one word, only this time it was a plea not a command. “Alpha you know what we have to do” Seth commented. “I am not getting her!” “We need her, this man is under a spell and maybe all three can break it. Maybe he needs to be around Felicity, Cassius and at Marble”. “Or maybe he wants to destroy all three” I barked back. “We need to talk to Poppy, I mean the Mother she might know where she is, she couldn’t stay with the Daughters as she gave birth to a boy, but maybe she knows where she is”. “She rejected me and her son Seth! What do we want from a woman like that? She’s not worth it!” I shouted. “FELICITY!” the man chained up to the wall screamed and finally held his head up looking at me. I saw them again, the same eyes as my son, the same as Felicity. “I know who this is” I blurted out. “Who?” Seth turned towards me. “Look at his eyes! This is Damien, this is Felicity’s father!” I stepped back and my shoulders hit the back wall. “We need to get her. He was the one that was killing all the Royals. We need to protect Cassius!” “Road trip?” I had no choice I had to find her.
