NOAH'S MISTAKE

I came to say goodbye, but when it was time for him to go instead of kissing me when I reached for him he pulls away and says "uhm look I think it would be best if we start seeing other people.  I am sorry Elle."  He turned and walked away.  I just stood there rooted to the spot as the tears just started flowing down my face.  I couldn't help but think why and why did he have to wait until now.  We had been together all Christmas break.  We had even made love several times.  I finally found the courage to move my feet and start to head to the exit.  I saw this young man out of the corner of my eye start to walk towards me so I hung my head and moved faster thankfully I wouldn't have to drive back Noah had insisted that Lee come along saying he wanted to spend some extra time with him.  Now I know the real reason.  When I walk into the parking lot I look up at him and he comes running up to me and says "ahh come on Shelly he will be back for spring break."   I look into his eye's and he looks at me and I hear him say "I will f*****g kick his ass he didn't please tell me that asshat did not wait till right before he had to leave he broke up with you" I just nod my head.  Next thing I know Lee has his arms wrapped around me and I let out a sob.  "He said he thought it would be best if we see other people and that he was sorry and left.  Lee, he didn't even call me Shelly it's like everything we did meant nothing."  "come on Shells let's get you home"  "Lee, can I stay at your place..." he cuts me off saying, "mom says your staying at our place since Brad has that tournament out of town and your dad is with him."  I look up at Lee "If he was going to do this why did he even sleep with me this trip"  Lee just helped me into his car and climbed in.  As we headed home I tried to think if he had shown any signs that he wanted to end it. When we get to Lee's I go into his bathroom and while I am in there I hear Lee.  "I swear you are the biggest asshole Noah.  I know you are still in the air but to blindside Shelly like that in the middle of the airport so she doesn't have a chance to demand why is an asshat move.  Plus to be here for the last three weeks making-out with her and having s*x just to pull this you swore to me you were not playing her I swear I hate you"  I come out of the bathroom and Lee has hung up.  We were lying down on the bed when June walked in and asked if I wanted to sleep in Noah's room when I started crying all over again.  Lee gets up and tells his mom what happened at the airport.  June walks over and brushes my hair off my face and says "I am so sorry sweetheart I did not raise him to be like this.  He should never have done it at the airport"  She left the room and I just laid on Lee's bed with him holding me and cried myself to sleep.
