Olivia Fabien, the country's youngest and most prominent CEO, finds herself reluctantly tasked by her grandmother to fetch an old family friend named Milda. Riding an EC120 Colibri helicopter, affectionately named Phantom Flamingo, Olivia sets off toward the countryside and stumbles upon Milda's niece, Elise Cortez. Unluckily for Olivia, landing Phantom Flamingo on Elise's lawn proves to be a bad idea, as Elise is left furious. However, Olivia isn't interested in getting into a catfight.

Despite the rocky start, circumstances force Elise to accompany her aunt to the mansion, where another challenge awaits her. To everyone's surprise, Elise is appointed as Olivia's temporary assistant, further complicating their already uneasy encounter.

Prologue: Different Lives
The loud blaring from Olivia's alarm clock completely disturbed her sleep. She immediately felt the heavy pounding in her head as she forced herself to get up from her bed. The ear-shattering alarm reminded her that it had been another busy day for a billionaire like her. Her slender fingers found their way to her pixie cut hairdo while discontentment was displayed on her beautiful face. Forcibly, she extended her long arm to stop the annoying sound. It hadn't been long when she suddenly felt the presence of an unknown companion. She tried to remember who it had been this time, but failed. "Oh, Olivia," came the purr from beneath her expensive blanket, "don't you think it's still too early? Why don't you come here and let me cuddle you instead?" Olivia's eyebrows automatically knit into a frown. She rose with another sigh, grabbing the robe that covered her nakedness. "In case you aren't informed, I don't do cuddles," she replied, her calm and deep voice echoing through the room. "Besides, your sleepy time is over. You can get up now." As expected, the girl was quite shocked by such indifference from her. "Excuse me?" Olivia's gaze automatically landed on her beautiful curves. The girl was sitting in an upright position on her bed, naked, and with her boobs deliciously exposed. Olivia didn't recall her name, but she now remembered her. She was one of the models who had recently endorsed Fabien clothing line, a business owned by Olivia herself. "Look, my head is throbbing and you have already wasted a ton of my time. You really need to go." She glanced at the alarm clock on her bedside table and realized that ten minutes had passed since the alarm had gone off. The discovery intensified her annoyance, especially since for her, time was gold. Clicking her tongue, she started ruffling the cabinet nearby. "Here," she spoke again while revealing a neat set of papers and a pen, "why don't you accept this before leaving?" "And what is that?" the girl replied with a frown. "100,000 pesos for your companionship last night," Olivia replied as she finished writing her name and affixing her signature on the paper. "I admit it was good, but it won't happen again." Wide-eyed with disbelief and shame, the girl stood up, letting Olivia feast on her bouncy bosom. "What do you think of me, Olivia Fabien? A w***e?" "Just think of the money as a parting gift." "A parting gift, my ass!" the girl said as she raised a hand to slap the CEO. But Olivia was quicker and caught the girl's hand before it reached her face. "Do that again," she said in a calm but threatening tone, "and I will make sure to kick you out of my brand. You don't want me to end your whole pathetic career, do you?" Olivia didn't need to say a lot for the girl to start trembling. The girl knew the kind of power that Olivia Fabien held in the business industry. Besides, the CEO's tight grip on her wrist spoke volumes. Olivia might have looked like an angel on the outside, but she was definitely not someone to be crossed with. "I-I'm sorry," the frightened girl whispered as her cat-like eyes looked at Olivia pleadingly. The CEO harshly dropped her hand and started walking to the bathroom. "Grab the check and get out of here." The girl disappeared in just a matter of minutes. Olivia hated making them cry, but she didn't like being too soft with them either. She was used to this situation. Her money and her influence could get her any woman in her bed, but they didn't matter to her in the morning. Everything about Olivia's sexcapades was just a one-time thing. Olivia shook her thoughts away, immediately forgetting about the girl. She felt exasperated upon glancing at the small digital clock on her bedside table. She always made sure to start her day at 4:30 in the morning, being the workaholic CEO that she was. She was supposed to be enjoying the shower by now, but the girl had ruined her bath time. Another sigh escaped her lips as she sashayed inside her fancy bathroom. She was going to take a quick cold bath then proceed to her next appointment, which was at the gym. She had managed to squeeze that into her already impossible routine, thus maintaining her thick build. Closing her eyes, she felt relaxed as cold water from the shower traveled through her warm body. She then generously poured her strawberry-scented body wash and lingered on that for a moment. Just then, the throb in her head intensified, and her organ down there suddenly made her feel uneasy. "f**k! Is it the time of the month already?" Reaching out, she cursed long and hard as warm and sticky fluid was seen in her soapy fingers. Groaning, Olivia finished her bath and angrily went out of the bathroom. "Can this day get any worse?" she grumbled to herself, grabbing a pack of sanitary pads to use. *** Living in the countryside gave Elise the luxury of waking up to the sound of roosters every 4:30 in the morning. Her bed faced a large window that overlooked a pretty garden she had created with her Aunt Milda. Her head felt rested, and her natural blush became even more visible on her cheeks. Elise spent a few more minutes inside her bedroom to say her prayers, fix the bed, and get ready for her bath. She stretched her body before heading out, giggling at the click-clack sound her bones made. From inside her room, she smelled the delicious aroma coming from the kitchen. Aunt Milda was already cooking. Elise opened her curtains, revealing the purple and pinkish skies above. It was going to be a bright day ahead, of which she was quite sure. Cheerfully, Elise went downstairs after fixing her long blond hair. It had been six months since she had gotten herself a nice haircut. Her Uncle Jose had strictly forbidden her to cut her blond curls because, according to him, they enhanced the beautiful features of her face—her light blue eyes, expressive jawline, and supple lips. If not for her Morena complexion, one could mistake her for an American and not a Filipina. But Aunt Milda had explained to her about her mother's obsession with a young American singer-songwriter, who had also been blond and blue-eyed when she had been heavily pregnant with her. Of course, her Biology lessons had proved her aunt wrong. Nevertheless, the matter had never been discussed again. After all, she had never met her mother. "Good morning, Aunt Milda!" Elise greeted. Her aunt looked up, and the old lady's eyes sparkled as their gazes met. "You're up early!" "And so are you!" Elise replied with a frown. "I told you I'd be making breakfast, didn't I?" "Yes, you did, dear, but what do you want me to do? I wake up at three to recite the rosary. And besides, it is not unusual for a mother to prepare breakfast for her loving family." "And we have already prepared your bath, too." Elise looked behind her, and her Uncle Jose emerged from the back door. "Oh, Uncle Jose, you didn't have to." "Go on now, dearie, before the water gets too cold. I have poured warm water into it. Too much cold is bad for your health," the old man replied. Elise felt her heart warming up as she gathered a pack of shampoo and a bar of soap displayed on the sink. Their house was a small two-story house with two rooms, one kitchen, and a sala or living room. All the things they needed for cooking, eating, and washing were displayed and available in the kitchen sink and cabinets. "Thank you, Uncle and Auntie. I hope we are going to have a good harvest at the farm today. It seems like a beautiful sunny day." "It is," Uncle Jose replied. "Our neighbors have already promised to buy a portion of our sweet potato harvest. Everything is going well." "You can bring your painting materials, Elise, so you won't get bored at the farm," Aunt Milda said. "That would be lovely," Elise replied with a sweet smile on her face. She felt cheerful as she marched towards the bathroom located at the back of their house. A pile of clean clothes had already been prepared for her inside, along with a clean white towel. "They never miss any detail," she whispered to herself as her fingers daintily touched the soft fabric. She was overwhelmed by the amount of love she consistently received from them. Standing inside the wooden bathroom, Elise heard the lively laughter from the neighborhood kids across the street. She also heard the voices of the mothers calling out for their children to wake up because school was just a few hours away. They had a pretty little town in the countryside, and even though life was frugal and simple, she loved it there. Smiling, she started unbuttoning her pajamas. It was going to be a busy day for the Cortez family, and a lukewarm bath would definitely set her mood. Scooping up a good amount of water with her wooden dipper, Elise felt refreshed. The water ran from her chest and down her slender body. She then savored the scent of her shampoo as her long and soapy fingers rubbed it into her already wet scalp. Elise didn't need to rush. She had all the time to savor this moment.
