Escape from the past  Ryder's POV I looked out of the airplane window as we slowly departed from the Newark  Liberty International Airport. Liberty I love the sound and the taste of this word, today more than ever this word meant everything to me, and these two fools next to me had no idea about my plan. They will find out when it is already too late. For this thought I grinned and turned to check on them. Mathew is sitting in the middle terribly afraid of flying, he is the oldest among us with his 25 years. He is around 5.1 ft , with military styled light brown hair and dark brown eyes. Eric sits next to the corridor he is going to be my Beta one day, he is very stubborn and extremely loyal, actually this last statement is true for both of them. Eric has blonde hair and green eyes , he is 21 and 5.9 ft.  We heard the usual information and I was very excited to see my friends face when the lady said: " Dear passengers!    Welcome to our international flight to Budapest Hungary our estimated travel time is 13 hours please fasten your seat belts while we show you the safety rules. " At that moment I cursed myself for not prepare a camera their faces were hilarious. And it made even more funny when they turned to me simultaneously and asked. -What the f*****g hell is happening?!  - 13 hours?! Hungary?! - Mathew almost screamed these words. - We were supposed to go to Huston. OMG Your father will peel us alive. We have to get out. - Mathew calm the f**k down please you are making everybody nervous around us. - Eric said and than turned to me.- But dude he is right we are dead. - Oh guys...Please don't be such puppies! This is an adventure!  You both know that I don't want any other mate than Scarlet. - Ryder, she wasn't your mate - I growled to Eric and Mathew put his hand on my shoulder.  - He is right Ryder, I know you where in love with her, but she wasn't destined to you. This is why we will travel back with the first plane tomorrow and try to find the One. - No! We will go to Europe and live a little before I will be attached to my duties and a stupid Mate. - My wolf growled at me " Stop being such a p***y, I hated Scarlet we have to find our Mate! " - " She was perfect you are too picky"- " or maybe you have your standards 6 feet down" - And with this he finally shut up.  - As I said we are going to have fun and I will deal with my father's anger when we will be at home. But now lets relax and enjoy this nice adventure. - I put my earphones on and listened to some music,  the track it was perfect for my humor ,  Simple Plan - Out of my system. When I woke up couple of hours later Mathew and Eric was watching the movie RED but they have just started so I joined them while we ate some snacks. 13 long hours later we have arrived to the capital of Hungary and jumped in a taxi which took us to the Astoria Square. We booked in a beautiful hotel and had two rooms which were connected with a door and a shared bathroom. I had a king size bed while Mathew and Eric had got two separated beds in the other room. They were exhausted from the travel and wanted to sleep but I was too excited and happy to be far away from everything I knew! That moment of happiness was interrupted by my father"s mind-link... " Ryder!!!! What did you think?! How did you dare to humiliate me in front of the other Alphas with running away like a girl?! " "Hi dad! We arrived safe thanks for asking and by the way you never asked what I wanted so I took the wheel of my own life! I'm not prepared to be an Alpha and I don't want other mate than Scarlet so now I will try to recover from my heartbreak! " Scarlet was NOT YOUR MATE!" Get your ass back by tomorrow!" - That was the moment when my mother joined our conversation, she is the perfect opposite of my father and sometimes she drove him crazy by taking my side instead of his. " My dear son, I'm happy that you are okay, we were afraid. But you should've talked about this idea before you left. It would've been less humiliating for us." " I'm sorry mom, but I tried to talk with dad about this and he just didn't listen" " Fine, what happened it happened. When are you planning to come back?" " HE IS PLANNING TO COME BACK TOMORROW!!!" - My father screamed" " Anthony I was asking our son! He is an adult! " Adult my ass..." -my father growled." " I'm planning to go back in 2 or 3 weeks thanks for asking." "Okay darling , take care, please let us know how are things going" " I will mom! You are the best" - I heard my father being extremely angry and he left the conversation. " Thanks mom for being on my side! "- But before i could've finished she said:  " Listen to me very carefully young man! I was being kind to prevent your father from going there and bringing you back! I gave you 3 weeks of fun but you have to promise me something" "What do you want mom? " " We don't know about any pack there but if you find your Mate, which I know it's not your primary goal with this travel, you are bringing her home. But if you don't when you came back you have to really go and search for her." - I sighed , my mother Anne, was always irritatingly diplomatic and there was always a loophole by which she achieved her goal, so that everyone was happy. "Deal" - I knew I won a battle but lost the war. " Great now, go to sleep and have fun tomorrow We love you" "me too"  We finished our mind-link that was the moment when Eric and Mathew came in to my room. Mathew was white as the wall and Eric looked like he just finished to throw up.  - HEY! Are you two okay? - Eric throw himself onto my bed facing the mattress  and Mathew sat down on the little armchair at the corner of the room.  - Ew  arae deedade  Alpha s giond to kloid us. - Eric murmured to the bed sheets. - Man at least lift your face or tell me by mind-link I don't understand a bloody word! - Mathew looked at me an translated. - He said that "We are dead, Alpha is going to kill us." While you were talking to the Luna, Alpha aware us to or take you home, or find you a mate or we don't have to take a flight next time, he will kick us until our destination. - I started to laugh imagining this. I hoped in the bed next to Eric and smiled. He lifted his face and stared in my eyes. -Why are you so happy?!  - Because this will be our greatest adventure! - They both busted in laugh and got up.  - That's right! If we are already here lets bring out the best from this situation! -Said Eric and winked at me while he hit a little Mathew in his shoulder. He grimaced  and while they were leaving my room he said. - At least we saw part of Europe before becoming a rug in Alpha's bedroom. After they left I had a quick shower , took of my clothes and lay in bed. I fell asleep almost immediately thinking about Scarlet which made my heart clinched. I hoped so much that she will be my mate. I fell in love with her at the instant I saw her, she was perfect. A strong soon to be Alpha of her own pack, with a beautiful white skin, long legs, long red hair and silver grey eyes. She is with someone else now, a single tear went down my face, that was the moment when my wolf became angry. " Forget her! Focus on our REAL mate!" - I hated him sometimes, like he wasn't my wolf at all but ever since I could shift he acted like he knows everything better.
