Imagine being in a crashing plane. It's just going down and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Then in all of this tension, some unexplained mysterious occurrence in the plane transports you to a whole new dimension.

Well, this is what is happening to Rachel, a University student. One minute she is her normal self and another she finds herself in a whole new world.

In this new enchanted world, an ancient force of evil has been awakened. There is to be war. There is to be c*****e, as this force seeks to feed on human blood.

Rachel finds herself as a pawn in a crazed powerplay of ancient magical powers. She finds herself with an impossible task.

"What is it... your task?" Marius asked.

"There is a man I must kill." She said.

"What?" Marius was shocked.

"Yes Mom... and this man is not only very powerful, he is also pure evil, and I must bring an end to him somehow."

Would you accept the task to bring down the most powerful wizard if you knew that the fate of the world depended on it? Find out how Rachel resolves this loadsome burden as she explores a whole new world of mystery and magic.

REBORN
The tension inside the plane was now so thick you could cut it with a knife. The fear and confusion was vividly painted on everyone's face as they all desperately pulled down the emergency breathing kits that had popped from above their seats. The middle-aged man seated next to Rachel was breathing heavily and the premonition-of-doom vibe he was exuding was heavy and strong. He was restless and frantically tried to stand up from his chair but the seat-belt buckle appeared to be stuck and it was really stressing him out. Rachel, on the other hand, was trying her very best to stay calm and keep her mind from jumping to conclusions. The plane streaked bumpily and she reached over and opened the small window next to her to try and take a peek outside. It was pitch dark outside and all she saw was lightning as it powerfully lit up a dark cloud from a distance. Then suddenly the bumpy ride took a dangerous turn. Although she could not quite think clearly, owing to the throbbing heart inside her chest, Rachel could have guessed that the plane was now nosediving. The sudden surge of speed and the passengers being suspended from their chairs by their belts could only mean one thing. "Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking," the trembling voice came through the address system. "I'm afraid I have bad news," he continued and paused momentarily, exasperating the fear in the passengers' minds who knew not what he would say next. "It appears I have lost all control of this plane, everything here has just completely shut down for no apparent reason. All instruments are just blacked out and my compass is going round and round in circles. The last time I checked we were about sixty thousand feet above the Bermuda Triangle and from there I honestly cannot tell what happened. Now it seems we're being sucked into what seems to be some sort of cyclone, and forbid me saying this, I think we're going down and there isn't a thing I could do. I would probably have kept this information to myself but I thought I'd share so you can help me pray." No sooner was he done speaking than the feed made a beeping sound before cutting out completely and throwing the entire plane into a momentary pause of utter dead silence. Then came the cries and screams. Powerful lungs screaming at their very top. Fear. Heartwrenching and bone crackling fear. Then BOOM! Nothing. Darkness. Darkness and dead scary silence. ****************************.      ******************************* Rachel opened her eyes and she was not in a plane anymore. She looked around where she lay and immediately gasped to find herself surrounded by dead bodies, scattered all over what seemed to be a village deep amidst thick heavy forest. The bodies around her were all bloody with stab wounds while others were completely beheaded. Others - had their limps chopped off and lying scattered on the ground. The stench of of raw blood and burned out fire filled the air and from all she was gathering, she was at the scene of a m******e. She gathered up some courage and stood up. It felt strange, and a little uncomfortable in her skin. Almost as if it was not her skin. Almost as if it was not the skin she used to have. She treaded slowly and carefully jumped over the carcasses, walking over to lean herself against a huge tree that stood in the middle of the circular-cleared compound. She took a deep breath and swept a gaze across the compound to see the village in its entirety. The small houses, she observed, weren't actually houses but massive tree trunks that had been dug into and decorated with red flowers at and around their circular entrances. The dried-up trunks grew very tall projecting up into the canopy above and few of them had more than one flower-paved entrance around their massive girth. Rachel hoped to ease the discomfort and sheer shock she was now experiencing as she witnessed all the havoc and destruction that surrounded her. It appeared the entire village had been slaughtered in a merciless c*****e. As her eyes kept sweeping the surrounding in shock and disbelief, she noticed something. All the dead bodies had a distinct mark on their forehead. A spiral tattooed onto their skin at the same exact spot. A spiral resembling the arrangement of stars in a galaxy. Then, suddenly, she noticed something else. A man. Someone else was not dead. The man's head was completely shaven and he wore an orange robe and flat shoes made from stitched reeds. He, however, didn't have the mark on his forehead and neither was their a drop of blood on his smooth long robe. Rachel quickly hid behind the tree she had been leaning against and took a closer look at the man. He walked around gracefully, carefully inspecting the corpses with disdain and disappointment written all over his face. He then immediately stopped, as if he'd sensed something, and stood straight. "You there," he said, facing her direction. "Show yourself," he continued. She did not want to do that. She didn't even know if she was herself. She had no idea who she was here or why she was here. He, however, was now walking towards her hideout and there was nowhere to run so she stepped out of hiding and stood her ground to face him. As soon as he saw her face and they locked eyes, his face brightened and he immediately stopped at his tracks, quite a distance from where Rachel stood. "How are you not dead?" He asked, mesmerized, but with a tinge of relief. "What?" Rachel was confused. "I said, everyone else here has been cut down to pieces, how did you survive?" He continued. "I survived?" She said, although technically asking. "I survived." She reaffirmed to herself. The monk-looking man then, noticing the disillusionment on Rachel's face, began moving closer towards her and as he did a noise resounded from within the deep forest. The sound of horses galloping and thickets breaking as the figures approached fast. On hearing it, he hastened to Rachel and without asking took her by her right hand, gripping it firmly into his own.  "We have to go, they are coming back." He said to her and put out his opened-out left palm indicating to her to hold it. Rachel then quickly followed his cue and put her palm on top of his and as soon as she did he closed his eyes. "Tasarakarum polifaderem..," he chanted softly and POOF! into thin air they disappeared. Just as they departed, the squadron of soldiers on horseback stormed back into the village they had slain. They had only ridden back to ensure their task was complete. It was part of what they called their CC, their Cleansing Code. Always go back and make sure.  "Spread out and finish off anyone who is still breathing," said Spark, commander of the squadron.  "Pour more oil on the bodies and light them up again, it appears the fires we had lit initially have burned out." He continued.  "We must make sure we have wiped Bodenia completely out of existence, not a single trace of these barbaric Shadow magicians should be left." He barked more orders.  As the other soldiers spread out around the compound slicing more throats and lighting fires, Spark signalled to one of his two guards who immediately stroke his horse moving closer to his commander.  "Send a raven to the Dark Castle informing the Master that we have done as he commanded. Tell him that Bodenia has been wiped away. Inform him also that despite our efforts we could not get our hands on The Shadow Emerald. Make it known to him that the Chief Mage would not reveal its location even as we chopped off fingers from his daughter's hands and strangled his wife. Make sure to tell him that we are still searching the premises for the Emerald and will stay on this task until directed otherwise." Spark said.  "Sir yes sir," the soldier reiterated and immediately broke off riding speedily away from the desecrated village.  Out beyond something is been undone  Out beyond someone is been Reborn  Someone with something to be done
