"Ruby! RUBY! Get up!" I look out from under my covers to see my annoying twin brother, yes I said twin. "Shut the f**k up, Collin!" I yell with a growl. "I can't there's been a rogue attack. We need you to take care of it." As soon as he says rogue attack I know I won't be able to go back to sleep anytime soon. I get up, with my blanket, and start walking towards my closet. "God, It's so f*****g cold." It has to be like ten degrees outside. I hate winters in Utah. You might have already guessed that my pack is the Blood Rose pack, one of the most powerful packs in North America, since I live in Utah. Utah is basically our capitol. It's where the Alpha, Beta and third live, which makes it one of the most important places in the Blood Rose Pack, along with thousands of other wolves. You might be wondering why a rogue attack should require a 16 year old girl, well, I'm the current Alpha of my pack. This makes me the first female wolf to be an Alpha in my pack, and one of the youngest Alphas ever. The reason I'm alpha is cause I got some pretty spectacular genes from my late Alpha father. I'm one of the most powerful wolves the worlds ever seen. I'm pretty much positive that I got my looks from my mother, but I will probably never know for sure because I have never met my mother and probably never will. My mother was a very submissive wolf, this is about all I know about my mother from my father. Since she was submissive she could never be my father's mate. So, when she got pregnant, I'm sure I don't have to explain that process cause just thinking about is Nasty, she expected my father to mark her and make her part of the pack. However, my father denied her, instead he waited until my brother and I were born. He gave her the option to stay nearby and see us every other week or leave the area. As you can guess she chose to leave. She never wanted us, the only reason she kept us until birth was so that she could trap my father. She blamed my father for getting her pregnant, but he shouldn't have been able to get her pregnant unless she was in heat, the werewolves versions of periods, which makes it her fault. I'm broken out of my thoughts by Collins foot tapping insistently at the front of my room. I quickly walk into my walk-in closet and pick out a maroon crop-top that compliments my hair and eyes, which are both Hershey chocolate brown. I then pick out some black leggings and a pair of maroon Vans. I put these on, look in the mirror and nod. I would normally put on workout clothes to deal with rogues, but I know once I'm done with the bastards I'll have to go to school. Ugh. Once I'm done checking how I look in the mirror, I walk out and ask my brother how I look. He raises his right eyebrow, looks me up and down and opens his mouth. "Damn, you look hot. But make sure you don't lift your arms up or your stomach might show. On second thought, go change, I don't want any of the un-mated wolves to see you like this. Pick something less..." "Collin, shut up. I can wear whatever I want and this is hardly revealing. We go over this every morning. I'm done hearing this kind of shit." My brother looks at me with a grim expression, he knows he shouldn't push me beyond my breaking point or someone could get hurt. "Now, lets go deal with the dumb ass rogues." With that I walk out my door.
