From the ashes of her death. She arises anew.

From the mistakes of her past. She forged a new will.

*****

Jeanine Anderson decides that revenge is a dish best served cold when she returns after a year after being murdered by her perfect husband and best friend.

Her desire for revenge brought her back from the fury of hell itself and determined to exert her revenge on the people responsible for her death and the murder of her father and child.

With her quest for revenge, Jeannine takes on the face of another, becoming an imposter and wife to the almighty Asher Reed.

Soon, she finds her fate intertwined with that of Asher. Though he too has his secrets and is fighting his demons.

His first confrontation with Jeanine has them at each other's throats, but when they both find out they had a common enemy, they become reluctant allies in their revenge.

She was giving up. She was dying.

Jeanine just wanted the pain rooted in her chest to go away, but now, it seemed even death repulsed her soul.

There was a part of her that kept on fighting, wanting to live. But what was the point, she had lost everything to them. Her wealth, her father and her child, and even her life.

Then she heard a whisper. It was so low but she could recognize the voice. It was hers.

That was her voice. The old Jeanine's.

She had three words to say to her. "Live and Fight,"

Jeanine jerked up from the water. Her blue eyes bulged out.

'What did I just do?' She asked herself in disbelief as her sanity began to return.

She had just been murdered, and yet she was planning on doing the same thing.

She was an ignorant fool for love and was used, ruined, and murdered.

Life had given her another chance and what was she about to do? Waste it.

Not in this lifetime.

Jeanine left in search of the only person that could help her. Asher Reed.

"You said only the living with the will have the power to undo," She paused, staring at him, noticing a glint of his interest in her words. "What if the living has the will but no power to undo, could you help?"

Asher Reed stared at her. His large thumb brushed over his neatly shaved jaw.

Jeanine could swear she saw sheer delight in his eyes but it vanished quickly.

"Yes I could, and believe me, I would be happy to help,"

She heaved a sigh.

"But on one condition," He added, his emerald green eyes piercing deep into her soul as if wanting to pry into her deepest and darkest thoughts.

"A condition?" She asked, but he didn't reply.

He took another cautious look at her. "What do you want?" He asked. She could tell his eyes already knew the answer.

"I want Dave Anderson and Emma Brooke to regret their entire existence. To regret the day they bumped into Jeanine Smith. I want every passing second to be hell-on-earth t*****e for them, to experience the pain I went through. I want them to go through worse, to grovel down on their knees and beg for death, and death itself will be repulsed by their soul,"

Jeanine felt the shiver run down her spine and her voice was shaky but enough to convey her raging emotion and hate.

"Then your wish is my command, darling," Asher said, forming a wicked smirk on his lips.

She felt only one thing. Hate.

Her heart wanted one thing. Justice.

She vowed her word would be the law.

Jeanine Smith Anderson was dead. She led a good life, made the wrong friends, and married the worst man. She was a fool, an ignorant being with so many mistakes.

But Natalie Reed will be nothing like her. She would be a beauty behind a mask of revenge.

Jeanine Smith Anderson was dead and a new Natalie Reed was born.

*****

Her name was Jeanine Smith, once known as Jeanine Anderson. She had everything, but what she truly ever wanted was to find someone who would love her for real.

And she did.

At least, she thought she did.

He was Dave Anderson. Her high school crush and the perfect man. They were the perfect couple, not until he had an affair with her best friend and then murdered her and his child.

She died, unfortunately, and went through the gates of hell and met the devil himself. Then she made a deal with the devil, in exchange for a second chance.

A second chance to live a borrowed life, with a borrowed identity, and drag Dave Anderson down to hell.

And she won't fail.

Painful memories:All for love
Chapter one Two hours. "Two hours!" Jeanine gasped. Unbelievable, she had spent two hours dolling herself up. It was so unlike her. Every other day it was at least max of thirty minutes to get all ready for the day. But today had been different. Yes it was. It was a good day for her. She wambled down the stairs, moving to the couch where her bag laid. She could feel the change in her. A growing life inside of her. She grabbed her car keys going to the door when she stopped at a portrait, she could see herself and her darling husband,Dave Anderson, her soulmate... the perfect man cuddling so close to each other. A smile crept on her lips, she remembered this day...two years ago,the best day of her life when she tied the knot with the best gift life had given her. And now it's the second anniversary after their marriage, and yet again life hadn't disappointed her, instead made her day. Her perfect little family will be complete, the thought of that brought excitement and happiness to her.She placed her hand on her flat stomach, caressing it slowly. I can't wait little angel. She whispered softly. The memory of last night rushed through her mind. She could feel how elated Dave had been when she told him over the phone after getting back from the hospital. Her suspicion was right, she was pregnant.  She couldn't contain her joy,so she gave a call to Dave,He was going to be a father. His joy knew no bound. Even though he was far away on a business trip, she could feel his happiness. She knew him better than anyone else. Her smile slowly faded away when she glanced at the portrait beside theirs. Her Father. She dropped the portrait in her hands back on the table. Her sky blue eyes gazed at the man sitting there with similar blue eyes. She didn't pick it up just gazed tenderly at it. Her beloved father, Marcus Smith. If only he had understood her. Tears flowed down her cheeks uncontrollably as she tried to hold back from breaking down. She was passed this. Yes she was.She told herself several times even though she sometimes doubted it. She didn't know if what she felt was guilt or anger. She said all she had to after his death some months ago but deep down it wasn't enough. He had always supported her and her life choices but why was her love different. Jeanine never understood. Marcus hated Dave so much to the point she was given an ultimatum. He made her choose between him and Dave. She didn't want to leave her father not for anything in the world but she couldn't live without Dave either. She remembered his words lucidly. 'Leave that gigolo Jean,he's not worth it. Open your eyes and see the whole truth,he's not trustworthy. If he truly loves you he wouldn't have allowed you to sacrifice your education deceiving me all those years while you paid for his college forgoing yours. You are still young dear. He's not right for you, if your mother was still alive she wouldn't have consented to this rubbish. If you go with him don't bother coming back.' That day she knew had lost her father. He didn't even attend her wedding, she was completely ousted. The tears begun, steaming up in her eyes as it overflowed. This time she didn't bother stopping it. She wished he was here to see how happy Dave had made her,she wasn't wrong. Yes,she wasn't educated. Many may call her a fool but she did what was right and did it for love. She wasn't proud for deceiving her father all those years making him believe she was in college while she helped Dave through college. But it was all worth it. Dave was intelligent but without an education he wouldn't be recognized in the society. She did what she had to. No one could ever love her more than Dave could. She tried several times to reconcile with her father but he treated her each time worse than a stranger, she didn't even know he had cancer. Now he's dead. Jeanine legs lost every ounce of strength in it. She threw herself to the closest couch nearby, allowing the past yet again to devour her. She wasn't even with him at his last moment. Had he hated her that much? She couldn't still understand. No matter her choices, she was still his daughter, his only child. This time guilt crept in,she cried her eyes out, ruining her makeup. She didn't care.  If he had hated her that much, why still include her in his will? Why entrust his Company to her. She remembered the last words the lawyer had conveyed to her from him. Words he couldn't just say to her. I'm sorry Be happy I love you. She burned with undescribable feelings. Even after his death she couldn't still understand him, still couldn't find closure. She never will. She was pulled back by the vibration of her phone. Through the watery clouds from her eyes she could tell it was a message. From Dave. The name brought her happiness back and the pain of the past was gone. 'Honey I just left for the Airport, see you in some hours. I got a surprise for you. Love you' The words lightened her day once again as she pulled out of her gloominess. She loved him and that mattered. With that she hurried upstairs to her room for a makeup redo and dashed out of the House.
