Forbidden mates

age 5 I was finally big enough to go to alpha training classes. I would finally learn new things about myself and my family. I've never shifted before since I am still young and I was super excited to finally learn how to shift and learn how to control myself. My mom and dad took my hands in their hands as they lead me into the class, that's when I saw him. He was jumping around and spinning laughing such a cute laugh . He spinned once more and fell on his butt. I giggled and covered my mouth as he looked up at me. "HI! I'M XAVIER!" he said excitedly as he jumped up holding his hand out. I looked up at my mother and father and they smiled and nodded at me. "H-hi I'm, luther." I said letting go of my parents hands to shake his hand. He smiled brightly at me which caused me to smile back.  age 8 "Luther! Luther! Where are you?!" Xavier said looking around the garden for me. I giggled from behind a tree and the next thing I knew it xavier tackled me to the ground. "Gotcha!" He giggled looking right into my eyes. "Wow.." he said softly. "W-what?" I said feeling a faint blush come over my cheeks. "Your eyes... there.. there like little emeralds." He said staring deeply into my eyes. I felt my heart beat faster as he leaned in connecting our lips. I gasped and pushed him off me. "L-lurher?" He stuttered. I looked at him before running away into my castle. "Luther!!!!" He screamed. I just kept running not looking back. It was days before I spoke to him again. I was so embarrassed by the way his lips on mine made me feel. My wolf howling inside of me and it scared me. age 12 Today was the day we learned how to shift. I walked into class and Xavier waved me over. I smiled and made my way over to him. Once I sat beside him my wolf became active he howled inside of me. 'Mate.' I heard. I looked at Xavier.  'Mate.' Again. Xavier looked up at me and smiled. I felt a faint blush and I smiled back before looking away. "Alright whose ready to shift?" Alpha vixen said. We all raised our hands and jumped up. "Let's go then. " he said leading us out into the field.  "I want each of you to choose a partner to shift with and find a spot away from others on the field." Alpha crane said following behind alpha vixen into the middle of the field. Me and Xavier looked at each other and smiled. He grabbed my hand and pulled me under a tree. "W-why are we so far away from the others?" I stuttered as he intertwined our fingers together. "My wolf... he.. hes going crazy." Xavier said. "I don't know how to make it stop." He said locking eyes with me. "X-Xavier we-we can't." I said letting go of his hands and looking away. "We need to be close enough to the others to know what to do... let's go xavier." I said to him as he sighed. "Yes, luther..." he said sadly and followed behind me.  'Mate.' Echoed through my head. "Is that you xavier?!" I turned around and yelled at him. He looked shocked. "W-what?" He stuttered. "Is that voice you?!" I said again. "What voice? I didn't say anything!" He said looking at me confused. I shook my head and sighed. "Nevermind.."  age 17 "Hey uh luther?" Xavier looked over at me. "Mm?" I hummed looking over at him. "I uh.. I think I might be.. inlove with you." He said and rubbed the back of his head. "W-what? But.. you... sara... your-your with sara what the hell are you saying?!" I said getting up looking at him. "Luther, please don't freak out on me." Xavier said stepping towards me. "N-no not again!" I yelled pushing him away. "Luther-" he started. "No!" I yelled and ran off. Xavier shifted and jumped infront of me. He growled and nudged me with his head. "Stop it!" I yelled at him. He growled louder causing me to shift and growl back. We circled each other growling back and forth. "Boys!" My dad yelled and snapped us back we looked at him and shifted back into our human forms. "Sorry father." I said and got up. "Yes, sorry alpha luthian." Xavier said then glanced at me. "Luther you have a cut.." he said before trying to dab it with his sleeve. I winced and backed away. "G-go back to her..." I mumbled and turned walking back into my castle. I went to my room and laid there thinking about xavier. He said he loved me and I think I might love him to.  age 19 I was finally ready to tell xavier how I felt about him. I ran to our meeting spot but he wasn't there.  "Xavier? Xavier where are you?" I said looking around. I sighed and walked to the gates of his castle. The gates opened at my arrival. I walked out to the garden and quickly picked a flower. I walked deeper into the garden and spotted him but... he wasn't alone. I gasped dropping the flower as xavier leaned in to kiss the man infront of him. "L-luther?" Xavier said hearing the gasp. "I.. uh... s-sorry..." I said before running away crying. "Luther wait!" Xavier said running after me. I shifted into my wolf and ran as fast as I could. I howled loudly in agony and found a hidden cave to hide in.
