Rejected Blue Eyed Luna

Bexley's POV:  "Bexley, honey! Breakfast is Ready!" Mom yelled from downstairs.  "Coming!" I said fixing my skirt making sure it was aligned correctly.      I was a cheerleader at our school and I considered myself lucky since I was the only sophomore on the team. It was also our last home game of the season and I wanted to make sure I looked extra cute and also because I was trying out for head cheerleader next year. I checked myself out one more time, before I grabbed my lip gloss and rushed downstairs only to be stopped by my brother eyeing my cheer uniform in major disapproval.  "What do you think you're wearing?" He said crossing his arms. I don't blame him it was a two piece uniform exposing my abdomen with a very short skirt which was not of my liking, but it did catch all the right curves on my body. Still once I became head cheerleader getting new uniforms was going to be high on my priority list.  "Not this again." I said mimicking him. He always did this with my uniform and any outfit that made me look good. He really took his big brother job seriously. He was the head male of the house since dad passed away when I was just a baby. Ever since then he has always been very overprotective of mom and I.  "Cut it out honey, she looks cute." Mom said coming to my rescue.  "My point exactly." He said trailing off behind me as I made my way to my pancakes.  "Hey mom are you going to the game?" I asked with a mouthful of bacon.  "I wouldn't miss it for the world it's Jason last football game." She said refilling my orange juice.  "Here ya go Princess, you look so much better." Jason said putting his Varsity jacket on me.   "Mom!" I pouted.  "Aww, you still look cute honey. Plus it's a little chilly out this morning, don't want you catching a cold. Wear it till you get to school." She said giving me a peck on the check.  "Ugh, fine." I said putting my hands through the sleeves.  "Oh sh*t, It's getting late. Let's go Princess!" He said grabbing my book bag and leading me out the door.  "Drive safe!" Mom hollered out. "Bye Mom, love ya!" We yelled back as we jumped into Jason's Audi.  Before our dad passed away he left us a huge amount of money; a million dollars each to be exact. I always  questioned mom on how that was even possible, and her response always was; that our dad had pulled out a life insurance policy before he died. Which that just never made any sense to me. Werewolves never get life insurance policies. After questioning her over time she started getting more and more upset, until Jason finally told me to stop. I would get curious and forget, but before I could even ask her again, Jason was always there to remind me 'Stop asking mom, don't you see what it does to her? The loss of her mate still hurts her.'  We finally pulled up to our school which was mainly made up students from our pack the Red Moon Pack and maybe 10-12 humans whose parents worked for our pack as doctors, attorneys, or accountants. Before I could even get out Lilli was already at the car side door waiting for me. Lilli was the current Beta's only daughter and one of my good friends.  "Bex, omg do I have a story for you!"' She said as I stepped out of the Audi.  "I'll see ya later Princess, good luck with cheer!" He said with a hug and walked over to his crew of friends which consisted of the Future Alpha, Dexton Carson, Future Gamma Reed Taylor, and Head Warrior Trenton Jackson.  Since Dexton and Jason were best friends Dexton choose Jason as his Future Beta. They were all play boys, except for my brother, our mother raised him right. Neither of them had found their mate yet, so girls would always throw themselves at them hoping they would be the one. "Okay, how the hell does your brother keep getting hotter?" Alice said walking over to us. She's the future Alpha's sister, her mother and mine were best friends so we practically grew up together. "Can we talk about something else?" I said as we walked to our lockers.  "Is it me or does Dexton not look mighty fine today?" Lilli said eyeing him from afar.  "Lilli is that what you were going to tell me earlier?" I laughed.  "Yes and No." She giggled.  "Then what was it?" "Okay so Anderson Scott the future Alpha of the Black Blood Pack is coming to see us." She exclaimed.  The Black Blood Pack and our pack have been rivals since I could remember. They are also the most ruthless, powerful and biggest pack in the U.S. We are the second biggest and they make sure we remember. No matter the rivalry all the girls from our pack swoon over their next Alpha. I however never got the chance to meet him and I didn't really care, but he's apparently something to die for.  "What do you mean coming to see us?" I said opening my locker.  "I mean he's technically coming to our school and we technically are students who make up the school, so yeah he's coming to see us." She giggled.  "You guys are more boy crazy than usual." I laughed.  "Come on Bex you can't tell me you don't have a crush on anyone right now or that you don't find anyone attractive?" Alice added.  "No not really, I'm not interested in finding my mate anytime soon." I said thinking about Lexi.  Two years ago on Lexi's 17th birthday she was rejected by her mate. He was from the Black Blood pack. She couldn't deal with the pain so instead she killed herself. She was one of our friends, always so sweet and knowledgeable. She was Reed's older sister, he kinda went on a rogue killing spree after her death. He took it pretty hard. He still to this day doesn't know who her mate was that rejected her.  I'm afraid that will happen to me.  "Fine, but let me say one last thing. If I could I'd lick his abs." She blurted. Alice has always had a crush on my brother since I could remember.  "Eww, please no more." I said closing my locker.  "What's up buttercup." Brady said pulling me into a bear hug.  Brady was my best friend and Trenton's younger brother. If someone wanted to know where I was, they would call Brady instead of me and Vice Versa. He was my first everything: First hug, first dance, first kiss, first hand holding and he was sadly there when I got my first menstrual cycle. I did save one first for my mate and that was my virginity. Brady and I dated for two years until this year, we decided to stop dating since we were both about to turn 17 in just a few months. We just wanted to make sure we didn't end up hurting each other, just in case we found our mate.  He and I also trained everyday after school together, that's how we got the Alpha's attention. There was a rogue attack one day, Brady and I were surrounded by 10 rogues and we managed to take 5 down each. That led to us getting special privileges and going out on neighbor pack meetings. We were pretty badass together. I would accept him as a mate in a heartbeat. We both even promised each other if we didn't find our mates by the time we were 27 we would mate with each other.  "Please tell Alice to stop saying gross things about my brother." I complained.   "Let her say it, since she's too afraid to talk to Jason." He bursted out laughing as I climbed onto his back.  "I can't help that I'm shy." She whined.  We all kept laughing at her. She was so outspoken and wild, but when it came to my brother she would go silently quite and instantly shy. We never failed to tease her about it. The bell rung and we went on with our usual routine for the day.  The remainder of the school day flew by and It was already 6 o'clock. I was waiting patiently in the locker room for the text saying I got voted Head Cheerleader.  "I'm sure you got it!" Chelsea one of our flyers on the squad said as she tried to fix her bow on her hair. She was a wolf too.  "I can't help, but be nervous." I said shoving my phone in my locker.  "Bex everyone adores you! I'd be more surprised if you didn't get it haha. Here come help me fix this mess."  She said handing the bow to me.  After a while we managed to get the bow on. "Finally perfect!" I said smiling at her through the mirror. Just then I heard my phone buzz.  "Yeah finally! What did they say?" Chelsea said as I grabbed my phone out of my locker.  I starred at my screen and sure enough it was our coach with the results. I was so nervous I didn't want to open it, because if I didn't get it my spirits for our last home game would be ruined.  "OPEN IT! THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME." Chelsea said jumping up and down.  I did as she asked and.... "I GOT HEAD CHEERLEADER!" We squealed jumping up and down.  "See I knew you'd get it, didn't I tell ya!" She said as she hugged me one last time.  "Thanks Chels!" "Now let's hurry we are going to miss the warm up!" She said as she rushed me out the door.  We made it outside to the field and the bleachers were already filled up. We put our bags down and started stretching only to feel a pair of arms on my waist pulling me into a hug.  "Congrats Sis!! I'm so proud of you princess." Jason yelled.  "Thanks bro!!" I giggled.  "Atta girl!! We knew you could do it!" Reed said putting me over his shoulder.  "Damn, I hate your skirt." Jason groaned.  "It's apart of my uniform." I rolled my eyes, as Reed put me down. "The way Jason complains about that skirt, I'm sure that it feels the same way." Trenton laughed.  "Congrats princess." Dexton said putting his arm over my shoulder.  "That's my buttercup." Brady said giving me a peck on the check.  "I'd love to say thank you, but considering how you guys just rubbed all your football sweat on me. I take it back." I said pinching my nose.  "Hey now, we don't smell that bad." Reed complained.  "Plus that was just the warm up." Trenton laughed.   "You don't want to know how bad we can smell after a game." Dexton said pulling me into a bigger hug.  "Eww I can already imagine." I laughed trying to get out of his grasp as he held onto me tighter trying to rub his shirt all over me.   "Hey guys, were you looking for me?" Steph the pack w***e said walking our way with her two goons Addy and Alyssa. She was literally staring daggers at me as she eyed Dexton's arms around me.  Dexton and her were dating, until she cheated on him with Anderson. Ever since then everyone kind of disowned her. She tried to say she was drunk, but continued sleeping with him a couple times right after. That was a year ago and since then she's been around the whole pack. I felt bad for Dexton, because he actually  really liked her. He liked her so much he thought she was his mate and future Luna of our pack. What got everyone to hate her more was the fact that she tried to get with my brother right after, but that was a big HELL NO.  "Now that's our cue to get back to the field." Reed said tickling my side.  "Let's go." Dexton ordered as everyone waved goodbye and walked away.  "Bye Buttercup." Brady said giving me a peck on the check.  I too walked away as both Alice and Lilli rushed their way off the bleachers to me.  "Okay so I just saw Anderson and I'd like to verify he is 10x hotter than I remembered."  Lilli said jumping up and down.  "Hahah, you guys are so pathetic! Anderson would never be interested in someone like you." Steph said from behind us.  Did I mention I hated her? Because I do.  "Steph, wow Hi! Thanks so much for joining our ABC conversation now get your d**k head out of it." I said facing her.  "Aww look at you trying to be all cute. Anderson's not into that he's more into Sexy which is uh me." She said as her goons laughed with her.  "Oh sorry if you got the wrong idea Steph, but were not interested in doing you're sloppy seconds. Were just simply admiring, something you clearly don't know how to do." I said staring her down. I really wanted to rip her throat out and my wolf Annie was clawing to get out.   Alice and Lilli were laughing behind me backing me up.  "Ugh at least I can get some." Steph added jabbing her finger in my shoulder.  "Oh we might have to burn that uniform later. She could have gotten a STD on it." Lilli said sticking her tongue out at her.  I was literally trying to keep myself together while I bawled my fists at my side. 'Let me have her.' Annie said growling in my head.  "At least some of us are saving ourselves for our mate and not hoeing around." Alice said flicking Steph's finger out of my way.  "Yeah not all of us want to be like you and w***e around." Lilli added.  "Ugh, you should consider yourself lucky that I practically handed you the Captain position. I would have taken it, but I thought I wanted to be more free senior year."  "Right, because so many people voted for you." I laughed. Sadly she was on the cheer squad, but not a single soul besides her two friends voted for her according to the text.  "More Free" Laughed Alice. "Yeah for her hoes." Added Lilli and we all started laughing as she walked away with her goons.  "You guys are useless!" She yelled back.  "Wow....about time she left." Alice said sticking her tongue out at her.  "I know, I thought she'd never leave." Lilli said rolling her eyes.  "Have I told you guys how much I hate her?" I said dusting off the area she touched.   "Yes, like a thousand times, but anyway enough about her, back to Anderson. So rumor has it that he is still mateless. OMG I hope I'm his mate."  Lilli said looking at the opposing team.  "Oh could be! Since he's of age he can sense you first and he can awaken your mate bond sooner!" Alice said getting excited.  "Ya'll are too much." I laughed.  "How do I casually walk over to our rival pack to get his attention?" Lilli said thinking about ideas.  "Haha I am not sure, but let me know when you got it figure it out. Alright I got to go guys!" I said as our coach called the cheer squad over as the game started to begin.  I didn't realize how nervous I was until now. My wolf was suddenly acting strange. I never felt this nervous before. Maybe it was all the jitters and anxiety I have had all day today from the try outs and results? Yeah that's it, that's got to be it. "Hey Bex, you ready?" Chelsea said as the game started and we begun our cheers.  Every time Jason made a touchdown he would come over to me and throw me in the air followed by a bear hug.  "That's my bro!!" I Yelled.  "Keep cheering for me sis, or I won't make a touchdown." He said before going back on the field.  We were on the 3rd quarter winning 27-24 and for some reason every time I was close to the field I would feel butterflies in my stomach, but I ignored it. We got a little brake before the final quarter and I looked at my phone that was filled with messages from Alice, Lilli, and I's group chat.      Alice: Okay don't panic Alexander is looking your way.     Lilli: We can't tell who he's looking at, but he definitely keeps starring over here.     Alice: I hope it's not Steph, if it is I'll lose all hope on humanity.      Me: I'm sure it's nothing, maybe he's scooping out the competition.      Lilli: Why are you such a negative Nancy. What if he found his mate?     Me: I hope so. So y'all can stop drooling all over him.      Lilli: You don't mean that :(     Alice: Take it back :( I couldn't help but laugh at them. Honestly I also do hope it's not Steph, but at the same time that would be better, because that means she could be his mate and she'll be gone forever and no longer in our pack.  The game was coming to an end with 15 seconds left on the board. We were tied Brady had the ball and somehow swerved every person coming his way and made it for the touchdown with a second to spare. The crowd went crazy and I ran to him jumping into his arms taking his helmet off and giving him a kiss on the cheek. You could hear a growl coming from the opposing team. It made me cringe, it must be the future Alpha pissed they lost. Oh well. Brady put me over his shoulder as the guys came over and they did their handshake thing.  Alice and Lilli were now besides us and Alice was trying so hard to congratulate my brother. Brady put me down and we kept whispering things in our ear as we watched Alice make a fool of herself.  "Five bucks, she'll choke and walk away." Brady teased.  "Hmm I don't know, she got this much courage to come talk to him." I laughed. I loved her so much for trying. "Ten bucks she'll run away in 5 minutes." Dexton added causing us to laugh even harder.  We watched as my brother being the oblivious dork that he was, was really trying hard to make conversation with her as she struggled to put words in her mouth. I finally looked over at Lilli who had been trying to get my attention with weird eye movements.  "Lilli is your eye okay?" I asked as I walked over to her.  "Look behind you doesn't the scene look great?" She said making no sense as Brady pulled me back into his arms.  Just then I turned around to see what she was talking about.  I saw the most beautiful dark green eyes and the guy everyone had been talking about. They did not lie when they said he was the sexiest man alive.  Anderson Scott was staring right at me.
