Volume 1: Part 1: Origins
Volume one: ORIGINS Volume 1-Origins I am about to tell you a very weird and near impossible but very true story. It is believed that sometime, centuries ago when royalty was much more powerful than it is today, the Nigerian crown prince of the city of Lagos was tasked by his father who was near death to get married to the princess of the neighboring city of Ogun to unite both kingdoms while keeping power in Lagos as the center of both kingdoms and in doing so creating a dynasty which will rule centuries after their generation. That was the outcome both sides desired, but things don't always go according to plan. The crown prince, Adekanbi Omolade wed the princess of Ogun, Adebisi Oriade and thus, completed the deathbed wish of his father. They ruled in peace, tranquility and love for seven years without a child until Adekanbi decided to take in a new wife to give him an heir, being supportive, Adebisi accepted her husband's wish and gave him her support but unknown to everyone, Adebisi was already two weeks and four days pregnant. Adekanbi wed a new wife (Omolewa) and she was pregnant in the space of two months, Adekanbi was very happy his two wives were pregnant and after nine months and two weeks, Adebisi gave birth to an autistic girl, Adekanbi was completely disappointed but he concealed his dissatisfaction because he knew it was not Adebisi's fault but that of harsh fate. Despite having this opinion, he didn't give the child a name, didn't call for any celebrations and refused to see the child. Adebisi eventually named the child Adelola, nine weeks later, Omolewa gave birth to a baby boy, Adekanbi was ecstatic, lavish celebrations went on in the kingdom for four full days and nights. Omolewa's child was named Adekanbi in respect of his father, he was the third of his name. Eight years passed and in those eight years, Omolewa successfully made herself first choice queen and ensured Adebisi wasn't given a lot of attention from Adekanbi. One faithful night, Adekanbi called Adebisi to his chambers for the night and the moment it was dawn, she set out to discuss the trading issue Lagos had with Omolewa at her chambers, at the door, she could hear moaning and after opening the door with one the palace's master keys, she met Omolewa in bed with Adekanbi's uncle (Adewale). Adebisi, being very kind and forgiving vowed to Omolewa that she'd keep this a secret and called the leader of her queen's guard to escort Adewale to his chambers, but Omolewa rather than being grateful to Adebisi for showing mercy sought out to make sure of Adebisi's promise to keep her a******y a secret and set out to end Adebisi before Adebisi ended her. She summoned all of Adebisi's maids and guards, threatened them with their lives and the lives of everyone they ever loved, she then instructed them to lay false witness by saying Adebisi commits a******y with the leader of her queen's guard which they all agreed to do. Omolewa called for a king's council meeting with the chiefs and Adekanbi to address the issue she had with Adebisi commiting a******y. She laid her case and called her witnesses who all confirmed her story and claimed they hadn't talked about it earlier because Adebisi had promised to have them killed if she heard a rumour about it. Adekanbi, excused himself, went into his room alone and shut the door, it was the loudest silence he'd ever heard. Enraged, Adekanbi summoned for Adebisi and Olamide (leader of her queen's guard), Olamide was immediately sentenced to death but Adebisi was given a hearing, she tried to prove her case but she had no evidence or witnesses, she then told the truth about Adewale and Omolewa, unfortunately, she wasn't able to prove it and was therefore convicted of slander and a******y. Adekanbi, because of the love he had for Adebisi refused to have her killed but banished her and her alleged bastard child, Adelola, forbidding them to return to any of his kingdoms at any point in time. Adebisi, with tears in her eyes was forced out of the kingdom she labored so hard to build, a kingdom built out of her royalty and loyalty, but with every step she and her daughter took, she swore to return no matter what it took. Two days after her banishment, Adebisi thought of ways to gain her kingdom back, and after careful thought, she went to the forbidden and deserted shrine of the god of death Azarailus, begged and cried all day into the night and yet received no answer. Late into the night Azarailus answered her and promised to give her his eyes and all the powers that come with it if she can become heartless and ice cold, shatter her heart and commit the greatest sacrifice ever by killing the one who she loves the most. Azarailus gave her three days to make up her mind and return. Adebisi was conflicted with the harsh decision she was faced with, she knew that her daughter, the one she gave life to was the one she loved the most, after thinking for three days and two nights, she made up her mind and took her daughter to the shrine of Azarailus. Azarailus congratulated her and told her of what to do, she was to slit her daughter's throat and pour her blood in the basin located at the feet of Azarailus, cut out her daughter's heart, eat it and eventually bath in the blood of her daughter. Adebisi did all this with tears running down her cheek and after her bloodbath, she stared down and saw her eyes had changed, they were shiny black and bright red. Azarailus then instructed Adebisi to sit and listen carefully, he told her she had the first stage of Azarailus's eyes of death and she had four more stages to go but before she can get those four stages she must know all there is to know about each and every stage. The first fact to know was that her strength will increase with the amount of souls she delivers to Azarailus. The first stage comes after the greatest sacrifice of killing the one she loves the most and with the eye comes the powers of seeing in the dark, super speed, double strength, heightened hearing, seeing through long distances, jumping long distances and immediate sensing of dangers. The second stage comes after ten souls have been given to Azarailus and with the eye comes the powers to control all the five elements of light, fire, water, air and earth, the ability to phase through objects, the power of ten men, ability to manipulate time, the ability to see through objects and the ability manipulate the mind of any person. The third stage comes after a hundred souls has been given to Azarailus and with the eye comes the ability to take on any desired appearance, the power of a hundred men, ability to turn anyone into any desired object, ability to transport herself anywhere, skin as soft as silk but also as tough as diamond, telekenisis and the ability to control any desired animal. The fourth stage comes after five hundred souls have been given to Azarailus and with the eyes come the ability to pronounce death once the eye is looked into, the ability to switch places with anyone, the ability to see the future and outcome of a battle, the ability to paralyze a person once the eye is looked into and the ability to raise the dead and control the dead. The fifth stage comes after a thousand souls have been delivered to Azarailus and with it comes the ability to change the future, the ability to share her power for a few hours without losing it, the ability to escape death and the ability to alter realty. Those were the five stages of Oju Iku (eyes of death) and their powers. He also stated that she was now death and could never die. Adebisi walked out of Azarailus's shrine with a heavy heart and a vengeful mind, vowing to ensure her daughter's sacrifice isn't in vain. She knew she needed to awaken all the powers of Oju Iku and take back her kingdoms, to do that she needed to kill anyone who stood in her way, she'd kill two birds with a stone. Adebisi, considering how weak her eyes were in the first stage knew she couldn't take her kingdoms now, even if she wanted to and therefore, she set out to take a weaker kingdom, the peace loving kingdom of Osun. At the outskirts of Osun, she was cornered by eleven able bodied men whose only intentions were to gang r**e her, as they continued to get closer, her Oju Iku activated and in less than a minute, they were all dead and that was the defining moment in which Adebisi realised why the eyes of Azarailus were called the eyes of death, their main purpose was to kill, they were the eyes belonging to a killer and that's why no one had ever seen it and lived to tell the story. Almost immediately after her killing exercise was over, she felt the immense power of the second stage of the eyes of death coursing through her veins. She set out towards the gates of the kingdom of Osun but was denied entrance by order of the king of Osun and with immense anger, she burnt down the gates of Osun with her elemental power of fire. The kingdom's defence went into action almost immediately, the archers were the first to attack but just before they could launch their arrows, Adebisi used her elemental powers of water and air to freeze them up and break them into shards of frozen meat and bones. A hundred men were then sent to stop her but she killed them almost immediately with two claps, the first clap opened the ground they were standing on and the second closed it tight, like it was never opened, all the men fell in the massive hole and were crushed to death, almost immediately after they were killed, she felt much more powerful. The king of Osun then came forward and welcomed her but stated that if she wanted to take this kingdom of his, she had to do it by getting married to him or she'd have to kill everyone and rule over their dead bodies because no one will follow her without his permission and he won't give it to her unwillingly. After assessing the situation she was in thoroughly, Adebisi accepted his offer of marriage and in a fewdays became his queen. News of all this shook fear into the combined kingdom of Lagos and Ogun and they began preparations to be ready for when she attacked to take her kingdoms back. Three years went by and it produced six children, in those six years Adebisi had perfected the use of her deadly eyes, she was determined to take back her kingdoms and despite her husband's persistent offer to take an army with her, she refused and set out alone. Her six kids had most of her powers but there was one who had all, there was the first pregnancy which produced a quad, Adelase, Ademoriyo, Adeniyi and Adelola, Adelase was the master of fire, Ademoriyo, master of earth, Adeniyi, master of water and Adelola the master of air. Then, there was Adeyemi, the master of light and afterwards, the last but most surely not the least, Ademide, master of all elements, he inherited his mother's eyes of death. Adebisi was met with a very stern test at the gate of Ogun, seven hundred men had been mobilised to stop her but rather than waste time on them, she put them to the same fate as the one hundred of Osun. After successfully burying them alive, she felt much more powerful, she then burnt down the gates of Ogun and stormed in, Adekanbi then sent two thousand men to bring her back alive and that raised feelings of him being weak amongst his chiefs, that night, Adekanbi was murdered and since his first son wasn't old enough to rule his late father's kingdoms, Adewale was made king and his first order was to ensure Adebisi's head was brought to him, to ensure that, he sent seven thousand men to join the two thousand on their way to Ogun. They caught up with the two thousand just as they were about to set out and when they got to Adebisi, she asked only for their attention and when they looked into her eyes and saw how horrific it was, she shouted e ti ku (you're dead) and they all died immediately. In a second, her powers were enhanced and she felt like a god, she was happy she had conquered Ogun but still wanted Lagos and so, she marched on to Lagos and was met with the sad news that Adekanbi had mysteriously passed on but she showed no emotion. Adewale knowing fully well his army had been depleted aimed to use one last line of defence, he sent out one of his assassins to negotiate a deal with Adebisi with the main objective being to kill her, after receiving the assassin, Adebisi's eye sensed danger and she looked through the assassin's clothing and saw the extremely sharp and thoroughly poisoned knife hidden underneath, she immediately said ku (die) and the assassin died immediately. Angry at nearly being assassinated, Adebisi burnt down the palace of Lagos forcing everyone in it out after she had turned the chiefs into frogs and then she levitated Omolewa and tore her into her two halves, with fear Adewale asked, is this the power of a god, and with enthusiasm, Adebisi replied, no, this is the power of the monster you made. After taking both Kingdoms of Lagos and Ogun, Adebisi pronounced herself as queen of the combined kingdoms of Ogun, Osun and Lagos. Power is known to corrupt and it did just that to Adebisi. She happened to not be content with conquering the three Kingdoms she set out for and wanted to own and rule the world and what better way to do it than by starting with Nigeria and Africa. She set out to Ekiti and she conquered it in minutes, but she was far from done, she went on and on conquering land by land on an expedition that took only two hours. In those two hours, thousands died, Adebisi had an army of the dead which can't be killed or destroyed, because of this simple reason Africa and all its lands belonged to Adebisi at that moment. Adebisi, though she was happy she had conquered Africa, still desired to own the world and set out to conquer Europe next, with her army of the dead. However, unknown to her, her powerful children were being trained to destroy her. After crossing the sea to get to Spain, Adebisi set out to claim it but was met with stiff resistance, her children were deployed to fight her, her army of the dead wiped out the Spanish warriors in no time but she had a hard time fighting her six children, they were of course, weaker and younger than her and unlike her, could be injured besides, dying wasn't impossible for them. The fight went on for over five hours but in the end, Adebisi defeated all her children, yes, she was that invincible. After being defeated, Ademide, being the one who suffered the least fatal of injuries went to the chief priest of Ogun and asked him for help to take down his mother. Being very careful, the chief refused to help Ademide but after Ademide pleaded excessively, he promised to get back to him. The chief priest after careful thought agreed to help end his mother's tyranny, Ademide was overjoyed and immediately asked how, but sadly, no one knew how to kill death and the only way to know was by asking death himself, Lord Azarailus. They set out to appease Azarailus by killing seven goats at the feet of Azarailus's statue. Accepting his offer, Azarailus asked why he was here and what he wanted, after the chief priest answered his question, Azarailus's answer was even more puzzling, he stated that she couldn't die but she can lose herself, how, asked the chief priest of Ogun, Azarailus disdainfully told him to simply switch Adebisi's soul with that of an object used to represent life, like a doll. He stated that the reason for that was because she could not be killed because her oju iku (eyes of death) were bound to her soul and that makes it impossible to kill her soul because her soul could not be killed. The task was simple, but the problem was that one had to get very close to Adebisi to do the soul transfer and the only one's able to do that were her children and Adebisi's army of mindless dead men who weren't much of an option. Ademide offered to get it done since his siblings were still very weak from the injuries they sustained from the last battle. A day was chosen for the final battle to save the world from Adebisi and it gave Ademide only four days to prepare for battle. On the chosen day, Ademide asked to see his mom to join forces, just so he could get close enough to her in hopes of ending her. Adebisi being suspicious refused to meet him in private, but rather, in the midst of her army. Ademide, having no choice agreed to meet her at her designated point. Immediately she got close enough to him, Ademide brought out the chosen doll to extract her soul but before he could end the incantation he was chanting, Adebisi transported herself as far away from him as possible and immediately sent her army of the dead to deal with him. Ademide, gifted with his deadly eyes tore them to shreds and finished them in less than a minute, he destroyed an army of thousands of dead people. Ademide, after fighting bravely and defeating his mother's army, proceeded to end her, he chased after her and due to the level of ground she had gained in one minute, catching her seemed near impossible. Ademide, after evaluating the situation he was in proceeded to just finish the incantation and transported the doll straight at her with deadly force, since she won't come to the doll, the doll went to her, immediately the doll touched her, she fell and the soul transfer was complete. That marked the end of Adebisi's quest for global domination. The world, fearing Adebisi's children sent representatives from each continent to talk about what to do with them since no army could logically take them down, the representatives then agreed to separate them, one for each continent except Antartica. Thus, Ademide was named master of the art death and guardian of the lands of darkness (Africa), Adeyemi, master of the art of light and guardian of the lands of light (South America), Adeniyi, master of the art of water and the guardian of the lands of water (Australia), Adelola, master of the art of air and guardian of the lands of air (Asia), Ademoriyo, master of the art of earth and guardian of the lands of earth (Europe) and last but far from least, Adelase, master of the art of fire and guardian of the lands of fire (North America). That's the story of my great great grandfather and how he defeated his mother, little did I know that the past will affect my future but you know what they say, there is no future without the past. That wraps my story up, why am I telling you this? Well, before I can tell my story, it's only right for you to know why I am treated as a god. Oh wait, I haven't introduced myself, my name is Ademide Jamal Omolade, yeah, the AJ Omolade, Four time world cup winner, three time nobel peace prize winner, multiple silver ballon d'or winner, twenty one time citizen of the year and so on and forth, yeah, I'm sure you've all heard about how great I am, but I'm about to tell you a side, one you've never once heard before. I know I am about to die moments from now but I am confident there should be enough time to tell you my story.........
