Alessandro "Shh. Be a good girl for me." I smiled staring at her blindfolded face, watching her squirm in her seat and pulling on the rope tied to her hands. I wanted to kiss her so badly, but I knew it was too soon. It would scare her even more, although my wolf was yearning to feel her lips desperately. She was so beautiful my heart skipped a beat the first time my eyes laid on her just a week ago. I was being driven back home after a meeting when I spotted her going up the steps of an apartment complex in the city. Her long, dark, wavy hair was flowing in the breeze when her scent hit me. Time stopped in that moment while I took in every detail about her. She wore a black t-shirt, black leather jacket, ripped skinny jeans, and combat boots. Her face was flawless with rosy cheeks and her almond eyes wore sharp black eyeliner. I saw her steps move in slow motion and I felt a strong pull to her as a deep, loud growl escaped my throat yelling, "Mine!" Without thinking I began to jump out of the car. My driver slammed on the breaks causing every person on the street to turn their attention to me. That's when she saw me. I wanted to run up to her, but I just froze and gave her a smile. She returned it with a confused look then quickly continued into the building. How could she not see what I see? How could she not feel what I feel? How could she not sense the bond we have? I stood there star struck with my mouth open. Realization set in after a moment and I understood. She wasn't one of us. She was just a human. Roman hopped out of the car behind me laughing his head off. "What was that all about?" "That was her," was my only response. Instantly he knew what I meant. "Seriously? It's about time!" He grinned at me then fell silent for a second before laughing again. "Wow, you really blew that didn't you?" I glared at him. "I didn't know what to do. I mean I still don't know what to do..." "Well," he began. "You can get back in the car until you figure it out to save yourself any more embarrassment from all of these people looking at us..." He nodded towards the crowd's direction. "Or you can follow her inside like a creep." He smirked at that last part. "Fine," I stated, heading back to the car as my wolf cried. Roman shut the door behind him as he followed me in and signaled to the driver to take off. "What are you going to do, Alpha?" He asked in a semi-serious tone, ready for orders while enjoying my dilemma. "Send one of the men to keep an eye on her. I need to know everything about her before I face her again." I turned face him. "She's human. Anything I tell her will scare her off, but I need to have her. She's mine." Roman nodded. Pulling out his phone he said, "I'll have Tony stay in the area and watch her every move." I began replaying the scene in my head. I couldn't get her face out of my mind. Why did I freeze like that? I should've done something or said something. Clearing his throat, Roman woke me from my thoughts. "Tony will be going into the city in an hour. I gave him the address and her description. He'll report to you every time he gets new information." I nodded my head in understanding returning my thoughts to her and only her. I needed to have her, but I had to be patient. I just wasn't sure exactly how long I could wait for the right time to act. That night I received my first report from Tony. I opened the email without hesitation and immediately smiled at the photos that appeared on my laptop. It was her. One photo of her at a coffee shop sipping a drink. The other photo showed her heading back into her apartment. I mesmerized and printed the photos before reading the email. Tony had discovered her name was Elana Ivy Venturi. My smile grew wider as I repeated her name looking at her photos. She had moved there just a few months ago and was a quite reserved person. No one had ever seen her with any family or friends. That last part broke my heart. She must be so lonely. I was sure as hell going to change that. I was going to give her the world. The next day I received another report from Tony. I wasted no time opening the email. There were more photos of her that made my heart jump for joy. There were four photos of Elana today, all showing her going into a taxi. She wore a messy bun with a long sleeve black turtleneck top, blue jeans, and sneakers. She was so pretty, even without makeup. I began reading the email wanting to know as much as possible. Tony followed Elana in the taxi to a cemetery where she disappeared after passing a few trees. She reappeared after an hour and took another taxi to her apartment where she hadn't left since. I became furious. How could Tony lose Elana for a whole hour? He had one simple job to do. Was he really that incompetent? I wanted to beat him senseless. One look at Elana's photo immediately calmed me. I knew she was safe and unharmed. I would let this go just for her. The following day I became anxious waiting for Tony's next report. I needed to know everything about Elana as soon as possible. I hated this waiting game. As if on cue, my laptop chimed. I rushed to open the email. Two more photos were attached of Elana wearing a simple long black dress. Her hair was down and she wore red lipstick and large sunglasses. She was stunning. My wolf could barely contain himself. I took a few deep breaths and collected myself before continuing the email. It was another quiet day as she spent most of her time in her apartment. She had only left to visit the cemetery again where the same thing occurred. Tony lost track of Elana and she disappeared for an hour before taking another taxi back. I was instantly enraged. Tony was not taking this seriously. In that moment I made the decision I'd have to handle things myself. He was unreliable and he would regret crossing me soon enough. Early in the morning I got dressed and drove myself into the city. I parked a distance behind Tony's car. The fool hadn't even noticed me. There were no other people on the street which was perfect. I quickly yanked the passenger side door open and slid inside. Tony jumped and turned pale seeing me. "Alpha... I-" he stammered. "I didn't know you were coming today." A low, deep growl rumbled inside me. I turned to look him in his eyes. Without a single word I decked him hard in the jaw. "You lost her! Do I have to do everything myself around here?" I roared. "No, Alpha. I'm sorry," he said as he spit out blood. "I have everything under control. It won't happen again." "No, it won't because I'll be here next to you making sure you don't screw up again." He didn't dare say a word after that. We sat in silence for a few hours before spotting Elana exiting her building and jumping into a taxi. My wolf howled inside me, craving contact with her. I got butterflies in my stomach seeing her this close again. I wanted to be with her, but somehow managed to control myself. Once at the cemetery, I watched her walking through the gates. I waited a moment before stepping out of the car to keep a close distance, enough to not give away that I was watching her. After she passed the trees along the path, I turned to follow her, but she was gone. I couldn't see her in any direction, and I couldn't smell her. I tried walking around without raising questions in case I spotted her, but nothing. I returned to Tony's car angrier than ever. I sat there dumbfounded wondering how I could lose her that easily. Tony didn't dare say a word, but I knew he want to say, "told you so." He had every right but knew better than actually saying it. "What happens now?" I finally spoke up. Tony swallowed hard. "From what I've gathered, she'll be back in about an hour. We just have to wait." "Who is she visiting here?" I wondered. "That I don't know, Alpha." Tony ran a hand across his head. "I've been digging but can't find anything about her history." I didn't bother responding. I just sat there waiting angrily, until Elana finally reappeared. I took a deep sigh of relief. We followed her back to her apartment where she didn't leave for the rest of the night. The next few days were the same. She only left the apartment to go to the cemetery where she'd instantly disappear. Occasionally, she'd stop at a coffee shop, but nowhere else. It was frustrating. I grew tired of waiting. I called Roman and gave him direct instructions to come down with my driver in one of the black vans with tinted windows. The next time Elana came back out of the cemetery, Roman and Tony were going to tie her up, blindfold her, and tape her mouth shut then throw her into the van where I'll be waiting to finally bring her home. Elana kicked and screamed when the time came, but Roman and Tony were too fast and strong for her to match. I had to give it to her though, she was a ball of fire and her energy excited me. I watched as Roman shoved her into the van and strapped her down before getting into the passenger seat next to my driver. Tony went to care for our cars as we drove off. I was the happiest I could be at that moment. She was here directly across from me in the flesh. My body tingled taking in her aroma. I watched her struggle in her restraints. It made me feel guilty, but I was not going to ruin all the work I put in. She would have to be patient, just like I was. Watching her just breathe soothed me. I wanted to calm her as well but kept myself from doing so. She would start to settle soon enough. It was a long ride home and she was already getting tired. As I looked outside the window, I noticed we were already out of the city and driving in the secluded woods. I took a deep breath and felt her shake in surprise as I slowly removed the tape off her mouth. "Shh. Be a good girl for me." To my surprise, she didn't scream. She let out a small whimper, but quickly tried to take control of herself. I stared as she took a few calming breaths. "What do you want?" She whispered. My mouth curved into a giant smile. Her voice was melodic. I could listen to her all day long. Her naturally pink, pouty lips were tempting me and my wolf. If that wasn't bad enough, she was wearing a long sleeve off-the-shoulder lace crop top. Her white strapless bra was visible underneath. I was surprised her juicy, full breasts were contained in there. Even her high waisted leggings couldn't hide her curvy hips. She was the definition of perfect. I couldn't help myself anymore and I caressed her cheek. She flinched at the sudden touch. "Don't worry, baby. I will never hurt you," I reassured her. "We have a lot to talk about and I will explain everything to you when we get home. I promise." She didn't respond. Did I say something wrong? Was she still scared? I looked outside and smiled. We were off the roads driving in the forest, almost home. I caressed Elana's face again, took off the blindfold, and took ahold of her hands. She quickly pulled away. It hurt me, but I couldn't blame her. She adjusted her eyes and looked all around, probably trying to figure out a way to escape, but there was none. She finally landed her eyes on me. I couldn't help but stare. She looked back with a fearful, confused gaze. "Who are you?" She almost cried. I gave her a reassuring smile. "My name is Alessandro, and you are my mate."
