1. Persuasive Sisters and Skittles.
"For the love of God, Kelsie, I'm not going," I tell my sister for like the nth time today. "Why not? Come on, you just graduated from high school, don't you think you need some time out? You know, to relax your mind and stuff?" she insists, pulling her long dark hair in a bun. "Yeah and going to your dance camp is what would relax me," I answer sarcastically, rolling my eyes. "Come on, please, it's going to be so fun." "Why do you even want to take me? Aren't you going to be with your dance crew?" I ask her. It's really weird that she chose to go with me instead. I mean, we might get along and all but we don't usually hang out together and stuff. We had two different personalities, she was more outgoing while I was more of the 'rather stay at home and watch a hundred episodes' type of girl. "Okay fine, mum said I can only go if I take you with me," she admits, letting out a sigh. I roll my eyes. I knew there was a catch. "Come on, please! please! This is a very good chance for our dance crew. I will buy you skittles every day for a month." "Fiine!" I drawl, "but only because you promised to buy me skittles." "Yay!" She squeals, hugging me and planting kisses all over my face. "Let me go, i***t, I need to go at T's, it's movie night." "But you never spend time with me," she complains, shouting. "That's because you've got a social life, I'm surprised you're not at a party, especially on a Friday night," I reply her, taking out my black sweatshirt from my closet. "Which reminds me, Joe is having a party at 11, I have to get ready," she says, jumping out of my bed to go to her own room. I roll my eyes as I put on my sweatshirt and leggings. I took my car keys and head downstairs. "Mum! I'm going out!" I shout, poking my head in the kitchen. "Where are you going?" She asks me, not really looking at me as her attention was fixed on the brownies she was currently making. I went to give her a kiss on the cheeks before licking the chocolate icing from the bowl. "Hey!" she exclaims, smacking my hand. I giggle and give her another kiss on the cheek, "I'm going at Taylor's, don't wait up, I'm sleeping there." "Take care, honey." "I will," I shout back, heading out. --------------------------------------------------------------------- "Ugh Chase! Get out from the Tv screen, can't you see I'm trying to enjoy the movie without your annoying ass all over my babe, Theo James!" I whine, glaring at Taylor's annoying older brother. "AW come on, you mean to say you don't enjoy watching my ass?" he answers with a wink. I roll my eyes, trying not to gag, "I'd rather watch a baboon giving birth." "Ew Jenna, what is that about a baboon giving birth?" Taylor butts in, entering the living room with a popcorn bowl in her hands. "Your annoying poop of a brother is blocking the damned TV and he doesn't want to get out of the way," I complain, with a frown on my face. "Don't worry, I'm going out right now, I have a date tonight," Chase says with a smirk on his face. I snort, "and who is that unlucky girl, may I ask?" "I sense jealousy here," he states in a sing-song voice. I burst out laughing almost choking on the popcorn, "jealous of what?!" Oh gosh! He can't seriously think I'm jealous! The thought made me laugh, even more, tears streaming down my face, clutching my stomach because it hurt from laughing too hard. He rolls his eyes at this, "I know laughing is just your defense mechanism," he says, " I don't blame you though, who wouldn't be attracted to all of this?" he boasts, flexing his, I hate to admit- very impressive biceps. I snorted in a very unattractive way, rolling my eyes. "You're delusional." "Okay then go already, don't you have a date to go to?" Taylor interrupted us and thankfully he storms out of the house. Sighing, I took the remote and played the movie. "You know, if I didn't know any better, I'd think Chase has a thing for you," Taylor points out, making me almost chock on my popcorn. "Yeah, if that thing is annoying me," I snort. "I'm serious, I think Chase likes you," she repeats again. "Yeah, no way in hell T," I roll my eyes at the absurdity. "He never acts this way when Jess comes over," she informs me, referring to her other close friend. "That's because Jess is a shy person and he isn't used to her the way he is with me," I defend. "Doesn't matter. He still likes you." "Well whatever, I'm not interested so it doesn't matter. Let's just watch the movie." I take Chase as my brother and thinking about him liking me makes sick to my stomach. It's not that Chase is ugly or anything, he is actually very good looking, inheriting all of their mum's Mexican features with copper brown hair and big brown eyes, and not forgetting his body. Taylor, on the other hand, is the complete opposite of her brother. She has shoulder length curly blonde hair with blue eyes which she inherited from their dad. "Oh and I almost forgot, I'm going on a trip with Kelsie and their friends next week for the summer," I tell Taylor, distracting her from the movie. "What? But what about the baking class we planned to start?" Taylor exclaimed. I knew she wouldn't take it lightly, especially after all the plans we made for summer. I don't blame her, I'm bummed about it too. "I'm sorry T, but mum said Kelsie can't go without me, and it is important to her," I tell her with a sad smile. She lets out a sigh, "Where to?" "Some camp or something." "You're going as well?" Chase bursts in from the front door where he supposedly went out for a 'date'. "Chase, aren't you supposed to be on a date right now?" Taylor asks him at the same time I asked, "what do you mean as well? You're going?" "Isn't it obvious? We are in the same dance crew, you know," he answers, meaning Kelsie and him. "Oh no! Now I'm going to be tormented by your presence every day for a month, " I say, actually horrified. "Oh please, your heart is screaming with joy that you're going to stay with me," Chase says with a pleased smile on his face. I rolled my eyes, not even bothering to answer him. "Aren't you supposed to be on a date?" Taylor asks him again. "Um, w-well.. I'm standing her up., she is not really my type," he stammers, scratching the back of his neck. He is such a bad liar, a blind man could see through his lie. "You didn't really have a date, did you?" I ask him, trying really hard not to laugh. "Of course I did! Her name is..uh..B-Bella." Taylor and I look at each other, then at Chase, and we burst out laughing. "Think whatever you like, I'm going to bed," he grumbled, storming off upstairs to his room with a scowl on his face.
