She asked in a pissed-off tone, “Did sperm donor buy this for you?”

She replied slowly, “yes.”

She turned away looking at the passing buildings and said, “unbelievable.”

Her mom fired back, “you are being very naive. You have to know how hard it is to bring up a child here. I am all alone with no help. I am sorry that I violated your stupid principles to give you a good life with no shortcomings. “

She started, “I can’t believe you. What else have you lied about? Are you even my mum?”

Her mum was hurt by this and said, “how dare you?”

She said with all the fury she could muster, “I HATE YOU.”

Immediately after these inauspicious words, their car was hit by a large truck. The driver was clearly drunk. Due to the speed of the truck, it immediately threw the car far away. It was a huge impact on the car. The car went on rolling. The car landed off the road which hit a tree which stopped the car’s motion since the tree fell onto the car due to the impact. The driver of the truck was scared and immediately drove off. It was a hit and run. The inmates in the car were unconscious. After about ten minutes another car passed by this area to find this wreckage. The people in that car immediately parked the car and got off it. A person dialed 911 and the others were trying to rescue Aria and her mum but there couldn’t because the car was severely damaged and the fallen tree was an impediment.

After about 5 minutes the scene was flooded with cops and the fire department. After a prolonged process, they were able to retrieve her mum since her case was more severe than Aria's. After an even more prolonged process, they were able to get the motionless body of Aria from the wreckage. The first ambulance contained her mom and was immediately sent to the hospital. After that, the second ambulance contained Aria.

There were taken to the general hospital in Rosewood. I told you once before, Rosewood was a small town. This news spread like wildfire. The gang immediately rushed to the hospital but they weren’t granted access to meet them. Both of them were in the intensive care unit. Both of them were in a battle between life and death.

Both of them were transferred to a teaching hospital since they were critically ill and the Rosewood General Hospital didn’t have the necessary tools to treat them.

The gang was notified about this transfer. At this sort of time, people are reminded about god. They went to the hospital that they were transferred to but they couldn’t go in to meet them. The gang was praying like hell. They were constantly worried. They needed to know about their conditions.

The doctor emerged from tending them. He went into the waiting room to be ambushed by a horde of teenagers.

“How are they?”

“will they survive?”

“doctor, what should we do?”

The doctor was questioned like a celebrity attending a movie premiere getting ambushed by a horde of reporters.

The doctor replied in a calm tone, “First of all, you all need to calm down.”

He continued, “Their conditions are critical, I am not being pessimistic but I am not 100% sure that they will make it through. The mother’s condition is more severe than the daughter’s condition.”

.............................................

He said in a serious tone, “I need to tell you something.”

She replied, “What is it?”

He said holding her hand, “Your mum passed away about a month ago.”

These words hit her hard. She was speechless. It hurt so badly that she was unable to react.

Chris asked concernedly, “Are you okay?”

She smiled with a fake smile, “I am alright.”

Chris was genuinely surprised by her answer and reaction. He didn’t want to press about it too much.

She faked a yawn and told him, “I am sleepy. I am gonna sleep.”

She turned to face the window which had beautiful scenery. Chris was by her side texting everybody that she woke up. He instantly got a reply from Jason. He is an insomniac like Aria. The others didn’t reply. It was obvious that they were sleeping.

Tears started to stream from Aria’s eyes. The last words she told her mom were “I hate you.”

A girl with brains and an attitude
The dark times ahead; Flashforward “what are you still doing here?” Chris replied taking a step forwards, “we are worried about you.” To which Aria smiled and replied steadying herself, “why would you care? You said that I killed my mum.” He replied, “I never told you that.” She rolled her eyes and said when she saw Amanda, “nice eulogy you gave.” To which Amanda replied, “what eulogy?” Aria replied waving the bottle at her, “don’t play dumb. You said that my mom was murdered by her very own daughter. Exactly those words.” They knew that Aria was sort of confusing reality with paranoia. Aria’s knees gave out and she fell onto the shattered glass pieces dropping the bottle in her hand. She started to cry and said, “you were right. I killed her. I am the reason she is dead.” End. Let me back up for a second and let the protagonist introduce herself... I am Aria Watson, a senior at Rosewood High. If I were to introduce myself to oblivious people, I would say I am the most fantastic person in the world, Nah, I'm just kidding, I'm a girl with brains and an attitude. I am thinking about pursuing a double major in business and IT. I am eagerly looking forward to starting my career in the finance industry, building a strong reputation, and making a significant amount of money. One of my main driving forces for entering the field of finance is the substantial paycheck that awaits me. I perform well academically and have good grades, although I struggle in the realm of relationships. It has been quite some time since my last relationship; in fact, I am unsure if I am still in a relationship with that person. My social skills are somewhat average. I absolutely adore sarcasm. My mother often remarks that I employ sarcasm as a shield. In moments like those, I feel as though life is an exam I haven't prepared for. Reflecting on it, this indeed validates her observation. She mentions that when faced with challenges, life may be tough, but if it gets tougher, you're simply being foolish. It makes me ponder where I inherited this trait from... Perhaps a young lady resorts to sarcasm as a defense mechanism when her father abruptly departs their home one afternoon, never to return. Really what can you do? my level of sarcasm has come to a point when I don’t even know I am joking. My therapist did state that I have to make some lifestyle changes and I replied by saying I am willing to make some lifestyle changes as long as I don’t have to do things differently. My therapist is always searching for something wrong in my life, very pessimistic… I am always saying to my mum that I don’t need to pay a stranger to know what’s wrong with me, just ask my chemistry teacher… she would love to give me a detailed report of what’s wrong with me for free of charge. I have a plethora of buddies, yet there exists a crew with whom I share a deep bond. We consistently collaborate on various endeavors, hit the books together, and face detention as a unit... it's truly a marvelous experience. Through thick and thin, we've always had each other's backs. While friendships may ebb and flow like the tides of the sea, genuine companions remain steadfast, akin to an octopus firmly latched onto your visage. A Genuine friend never lets their comrade venture into folly all by themselves... In all honesty, the situation wasn't as long as it is now... There was a tournament in the field of commerce, and to qualify for the preliminary rounds we had to make a presentation on the entrepreneurial trends. Winning this or at least participating in this (because they would give participation certificates maybe to make losers feel good) would give us an upper hand when choosing colleges. It is a competition to which almost every school in the US would participate with the exception of some. We are a novelty team, and this is the first time that Rosewood High would participate in something like this. I wonder whether the principal does this to get rid of me for a few days for some peace. Honestly, I am a handful to ordinary people because I am better at everything than them. If I were him, I would’ve made better life choices and not be a principal at the age of 40 with nothing else better to do in life. It was a great opportunity for us to put a degrading school on the map. I went to the principal’s office. He saw me at the door and murmured to himself, “Dear life, when I ask whether things could not get any worse, it is a rhetorical question, not a challenge." He gestured for me to come in and take a seat. I asked him permission to use the school library to practice our stuff for the competition after school. He accepted it very quickly. It was a very easy request. The group that I was a part of consisted of a total of 6 individuals. I held the most significant role within the group, contributing to virtually everything and also being recognized as "the Chandler" of our group dynamic. Amanda, although a pleasant individual, required assistance in the academic arena. Kathy was known for her athleticism, boasting the second most lavish home after mine. My own residence featured amenities such as an outdoor pool, hot tub, and even a movie theater. Jason, the tallest member of our group, was often likened to a selfie stick, embodying characteristics of both Barney and Joey from our favorite shows. Henry's struggle with OCD was often exploited by the rest of us. Chris, on the other hand, possessed both intelligence and undeniable attractiveness, a combination that I believed to be quite rare. As we gathered in the library, I proceeded to deliver the news to the group. Surprisingly, they did not seem taken aback by the information. Seated on a desk, Henry remarked, "We specifically chose you for this task because we knew he would go to great lengths to prevent you from revealing the truth." Responding with a chuckle, I expressed, "It brings me joy to be of service." I casually tossed the key to Jason, stating, "The responsibility now falls on your shoulders." The library in our school also acted as a place to keep extra laboratory equipment, I guess that’s what happens when you have an incapable person in an authoritative position. We discussed the competition and the presentation we are going to do in the first preliminary round. We had to create a presentation on the topic of new entrepreneurial trends in the US and the world. Chris who is our brains guy and the Tec guy made a presentation that got my approval. I heard the janitor cleaning the chemistry lab which is right next to the library. Jason went out and came back after some time. We were very much focused on work. We spent hours and hours inside talking about entrepreneurial trends, Amanda’s zit which she is trying so hard to cover, Jason’s new crush, and my failing love life............. the important stuff in life.......
