"Ma'am, we request you to leave the premises to avoid more problems. Do you have someone in mind to accompany you home?"

"My mind is only filled by you. Would you like to accompany me home?"

I heard the bartender gulp. I laughed and traced my finger down his throbbing neck, "Do you?"

THE BAR
A crash silenced my supposed to be debut. I felt a huge thing smash itself on our back sending me in between the two guys. And then the car started spinning. I barely noticed Ren speaking gibberish or maybe cursing our bad luck as I focused myself in looking for something to hold onto. But the spinning was getting faster, a feat impossible to happen. In what I understand, the spin should start to slow. In the chaos of it all, my hand slipped and accidentally held on to Ren's. His hand felt hot. I felt my hand was burning. Involuntarily, I jerked my hand away. I felt my head smash something hard and then no more. Darkness engulfed me. But a sinister feeling crept up into my heart. I felt death is upon me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Why is my life like this?" I shouted to no one in particular. "I'm pretty, I'm rich, and I'm everything a man always dreamed of! But why am I so pathetic? Why do they always leave me?!" Here I am, sitting alone in a bar full of people, with couples kissing and grinding against each other – the irony of things. "I'm sick of this life!" I threw the bottle of vodka into the dance floor. In my drunken state, I laughingly watched as the people dispersed away from where I threw the bottle. I could hazily see their glares and insult. But I laughed it all off. Just then, a handsome bartender approached me. "Ma'am, we request you to leave the premises to avoid more problems. Do you have someone in mind to accompany you home?" I stared at the bartender, a mischievous smile slowly forming my lips. I stood up with a little sway and sauntered towards him. I held his belt to pull him closer to me and said near his ear, "My mind is only filled by you. Would you like to accompany me home?" I heard the bartender gulp. I laughed and traced my finger down his throbbing neck, "Do you?" "Ma'am, please. I just wanted to ensure that you get home safely." I licked his right ear. "Hmmm. Then accompany me home, darling." "Uh Ma'am," I heard his panicked voice, which made me laugh once again. "You, handsome young man, are so innocent. It makes me want to devour you." The poor boy backed a step and hurriedly said, "I'll call our manager Ma'am. Please wait for a while and do no harm." I laughed at the bartender's word. "Do no harm? Pffft! What does he think of me, a pretty psychopath?" I laughed once again and stood up. I decided to go out for a walk. I placed a wad of cash on the table and swayed out of the bar. "Ah fresh air!" I said as I inhaled the smoke and fumes of the city. I started to walk without a destination in mind. My aim for the night was to just enjoy the night and watch the buildings' flickering lights. Yeah, f*ck, Christmas lights. Its f*cking Christmas and I haven't felt any joy in this season. Who said this was the happiest season of the year? I'm sad, I'm feeling terrible, and I'm feeling the whole world is against me! I threw my sandals away and decided to walk barefoot. "Yeah f*ck you shoes! My feet are all sore! Who says corporate uniforms require high-heeled shoes." "Tomorrow I'll issue a memorandum in my company to never make high-heels mandatory." "Yeah haha nice! I'm such a genius!" And then I remembered that it's holiday tomorrow. "Yeah, it's f*cking Christmas, and I'd spend my whole day all alone in the company of my pillows." I sat down in the ground and bawled my eyes out. I cried for my pitiful and pathetic self. Even if I move forward with a smile on my face, my life just keeps ending on a very sad note. Every time I start anew, a problem always arises. Not in the company, no, no. My company has always been on the rise, a slowly rising empire. But when it comes to my personal life, everything turns upside down. I was crying for a while when suddenly I heard some laughing in the background. I instinctively looked up and found myself face to face with a badly-tattooed head. I furrowed my brows in confusion and dragged my butt back a little. That's when I saw that there were five people with the same head – badly-tattooed. Well, I don't think the tattoos really look bad, it's just my sight is a little fuzzy and I swear the tattoos started moving. "Ah, who are you?" I blurted out. They all laughed at me. "Hey! That's rude of you! Do you see these tears? They're not for laughs you know!" I shouted at them, offended. But as if like they were mentally challenged, they continued to laugh. "Hey! I'm talking to you!" I said. "Who are you?" I don't know why I wanted to know their names. I feel like it's my time to flee but my feet refused to move. "Hey, young lady," I finally heard one talk to me. "Do you want to come with us? We're going to have fun." Oh s**t. That fun sounded ugly. I tried to negotiate, "I don't want fun. I want to go home." "Oh then let's move the fun into your home then." What move? "No, I don't feel like-" I stopped talking when I felt hands holding my arm and waist and hoisting me up. Oh no, this is so bad. Of all days, why am I taken now? I learned how to defend myself, and I was a pro in close combat. But in my current state right now, I could probably just hurt myself. I took a deep breath. I have to get out of this situation, and the only option for me is to free myself and run like an ostrich. Okay let's do this. The moment my feet touched the ground, I jumped high and bit the only hand that was holding my arm. The hand was removed. And then I twisted to free my waist and then I sprinted. I know I'm drunk, but I do know now where I am heading. The blinking lights of the bar where I came from became my life line.
