Nicole's POV it's Sunday afternoon and I realized that I haven't packed anything yet and I'm only left with two days before my departure, I just got the acceptance letter to go study in abroad in the BRITISH UNIVERSITY IN Prague. yeeeiy exciting right?! oh well not really cause I had literally no one to look forward to. My parents disappeared from the face of the earth since I was only 5 years old. some people said they got kidnapped while others assumed it was works of hands, witchcraft. they believed my mom was a witch since daddy was not working but we managed to live a lavish life, so I heard. the only life I remember as a person was of poverty, failure, sadness, nightmares and heartaches from having no answers to where are my parents and why did they have to live me behind in this cruel world. I heard a knock on the door that took away my thoughts and got me back to reality. it was a lady who stayed in my area, Ms Jennette, she's been nothing but good to me since she's the one who has been feeding me, providing me with some old clothes that her girl has outgrown and her and her family where the only people that I grew up close to. she gave me a wake up call that I am leaving this country when she came and gave me my ticket and passport. they arrived at her house because I've been using her daughter Tasha's mail to apply everything until yesterday when they gifted me a laptop of her son Joel because he left 10 years ago to live with his wealthy father living everything behind, laptop included. I can't say much about him because I hardly known him, I was only eight years old when I last saw him, Ms Jennette says he comes once in a while but I wouldn't notice because he always went out to the 'beach' whenever Tasha would talk about his presence in the town. " I'm half way there Miss" I said looking at the mess I've made while I was looking for my folks 2 photos that I only had. one when they got married and one where my mom held my fathers weist while my father held me high when I was only about three years of age. she saw the sadness on my face because tears formed a glossy look on my eyes. "is everything alright Nicole?" she asked and I couldn't stop but whimper when all the little memories of my parents and I in this beautiful but now antique house appeared before my mind. "We all don't know what happened to your parents my darling, but like I said, Julia wouldn't just pack and leave you behind, you where her precious dime and she couldn't let even a fly to hurt you surely one day you are gonna reunite." Ms Jennette said with teary eyes and started to give me a big teddy bear hug. I gave her a weak smirk under my salty tears. she helped me cover all the furniture and helped me pack decor inside the boxes and packed my few clothes inside the sports back because I Nicole Wilson was a bit of a tomboy. we giggled at her memories with mom before we could realize it was evening already and then she went and handed me a bracelet saying it's from my mom and she hoped to give me on my eighteenth birthday but because it was in few after I left the city she couldn't get a better chance to gift it to me.
