UPDATES ON MONDAY, FRIDAY AND SARTUDAY

"f**k!" He cussed under his breath, feeling the twist in his pants at the sight of the raven-haired beauty.

She was distractive.

Way too distractive.

1. I'd smash that
CHAPTER ONE Sitting on the balcony of her lavish mansion overlooking the city with exposed legs stretched before her and the laptop open on the table at six thirty in the evening, Rency Walters sighed in frustration. Picking up the coffee cup on the table beside her laptop, she drained the last contents of the blue luminous green ceramic cup.   “You can do this,” She muttered under her breath, straightening up with her fingers poised on the laptop keyboard ready to type but just like in the past five hours, nothing fecund came to her mind. Being a full time romance author was not quite as easy as it seemed and even worse was having three consecutive box sets being international bestsellers, so naturally people assumed that it would so easy to write another bestseller. It was pretty hard enough that she had fans anxiously waiting for her to drop a new book but then there was the deadline too approaching real fast.   “f**k,” she stood up, gripping her dark, shoulder length curly hair as she began pacing to and fro.   Neither the coffee nor playing her favorite song in the background was helping. This was supposed to be an easy write and a super hit but how could she not be able to write one f*****g s*x scene? All afternoon, she had written that one s*x scene a million times over but it just didn’t taste right. She needed it to be hot, exciting and very different from the scenes in her other books. She wanted her readers to have a dose of something edgy and wild but she just did not know what exactly she wanted it to be.   The ringing of her phone came through, distracting her. It was Misha, her agent. Most of the time however, she felt more of a friend than an agent. Who could blame her? Being the agent of a well-known romance author was something that many only lived to dreamed of.   “Misha,”   “How is the writing coming along?” She questioned, making Rency sigh.   “Not quite as productive as I thought it would be,” she confessed.   “Don’t stress yourself. You still have two weeks to complete the novel. How about you take the night off, huh? Go out, have some fun and relax your mind. It always works,” She advised.   “I don’t think that’s a good idea Misha,”   “And neither is locking yourself up and writing a whole day. Not only is it bad for your health but you still have a life outside writing, remember?”   “Fine. I’ll call up Joanna and Shane, to see if they have something up their sleeves,” She promised. It was no use antagonizing Misha when she was clearly going to win in the end. That woman was quiet resilient and whenever she said something, you better not try to fight with her.   “Great,” she answered and she could imagine her smiling in pure glee.   Rency barely grunted as she cut off the call. Going through her contact list, she felt a tiny rush inside her. This was so not a good idea. Hanging out with just Joanna meant looking for trouble but hanging out with both Shane and Joanna meant absolute trouble but maybe she actually needed some time out.   “Hey babes,” she queried in her usual high cheerleader the moment she answered her phone on the second ring.   “Hey. What are you doing tonight?” She questioned, palm pushed in the back pocket of her cut out jeans booty short as she resumed her light pacing on the balcony.   “Well, Shane and I are going out, not sure exactly where. He claims it’s a surprise. Funny thing, I was actually about to call you but you called me first instead,”   “You think there is room for one more person in your group?” she questioned.   “Nonsense! You, Shane and I have been best friends since we were kids, why would you even ask that? Come on, we’ll pick you up in twenty. Will you be ready then?” She said.   “Definitely,”   When she cut off the call, she leaned on the balcony looking at City that had come alive with beautiful lights. Why shouldn’t writing a goddamn novel be just as beautiful as that? Heck, it was draining and very much stressful especially when there were people out there waiting for your release. Some positively but others obviously crossing their fingers that it turns out a total crap.   Why was she still thinking about writing? Tonight she was going to forget writing even just for a few hours. With that thought in mind, she switched off her laptop and alongside with the empty coffee cup, she walked back into the main house. Ten minutes later, she stepped out of the shower, completely refreshed and very much ready to go look for a good distraction. She pulled on a sexy dress that stuck to every inch of her curvy body, accentuating her attractive figure Nude lipstick and smoky eyes later, she felt she was ready to go have some fun with her two best friends.   “Perfect,” she smiled, leaning away from the mirror. It did not hurt to be confident in all your looks.   She had just worn her heels when she heard the doorbell ring. Smiling, she tucked her Gucci purse under her arm, straightened out the slight crease on her dress before locking up her bedroom. When she opened the door, Shane and Joanna were predictably much stranding there, goofy grins immediately touching their faces.   “Damn girl! If I were straight, I would definitely want to smash that,” Shane commented, running his gaze over.   “Well, thank you but why are you all dressed like you are going for a mere walk?” She questioned taking in their simple dressing that was basically jeans and leather jackets.   “Because we are not exactly going to a club or any party for that matter. I forgot to tell you the dress code over the phone. So you might want to change that hun,” Joanna said.   “Where the hell are we going then?” She questioned. She spent her precious minutes dubbing makeup over her face for absolutely no reason? Unbelievable.   “I’m still not spilling but for the record, we have less than thirty minutes. So hurry up,” he clapped his hands on her face.   “Okay, got it but if it’s boring, you are so dead,”
