The Kings Want Her

“You are in danger. Run! Run before he catches you!” the voice echoed in the darkness. I look for anyone. It is suffocating in here. I want to get out. I run desperately looking for any way out when I see the moon. It is red and big. Somehow it creeps me out. I starts to feel something creep me out. There is a figure standing in front of me in a few distance. I tried to call him but he just walk away. “Hello? Is there any way out of here? I’m lost.” This does not feel good and I decide to run to him. “Wait! Please help me. I want to get out of here.” The figure stop walking and turn to me. My body becomes stiff. He walks closer and I can barely move my feet. Sweats are all over my face. I parted my lips to scream but nothing comes out. He holds me on my waist. One hand comes to my neck forcing me to look at him right into his red eyes. “Mine.” He growls. He comes closer to my neck and licking it as he pleases. I gasp when I could feel his teeth on my skin. There I feel the pain he bites me. I try to push him hard but nothing can compare to his energy. I cried for him to stop until black dots filling in my head. I wake up with tears on my bed. I have been crying to be released from him. What are these nightmares. I keep getting lost somewhere in the darkness and see him. The red eyes that are darken with desire when his steps closer to reach mine. I rub my eyes and take a quick shower. Today is the camping day. Jane will be mad if I am late to meet her. She is so excited about this camping trip. I only joining this to distract myself from this mess. Maybe dwelling in nature is good for my mind. I dress up properly to walk in the woods. Every things checked and I take a bus to the school. Everyone is already at the school compound. “Kayla, over here.” Jane shout and I could see her smiling at me. Gosh this girl has a lot of energy in the morning. I felt a little bit tired because of the nightmares. “Are you okay? You have bags under your eyes. The nightmares again?” Jane concerns for me. She knows I am having nightmares for these few days. I just simply nod at her. I do not want to ruin the mood. I need to clear my mind. After everyone’s attendance is checked, we ride on the bus to the camping site. It takes 2 hours from the school. I put my earphone on and try to get some sleep.
