[Ex-Host Ye Ai, you have been granted a 'second chance' to redeem yourself from your previous sins. Are you willing to accept?]

"Yes."

[Host, you will now be bonded with a pioneer system to help you complete your task. Please wait.]

[Welcome Host! I am System 3611 at your service. Eh, why are you at the floor?]

"This..."

"..."

"... should be a baby system."

"Better terminate them both."

"Stupid system."

[Host, I won't let them bully you. I will report them to administrator!]

"System, be good. They are the administrators," the woman gently explained to her system.

[Eh...?]

Prologue
A lone figure of a woman was walking down the long stretch of the hallway. She wore a simple white garment which accentuated her figure and made a contrasting picture with her long and flowing midnight black hair. She has a curvy figure but wouldn’t make those who saw her think of bad thoughts. She was pure beauty. Before passing through the archway, she stopped on her heels. Her eyes shone with wisdom and determination as she clenched her small fist in excitement. Anyone who saw her would never forget those limpid peach shaped eyes with eyelashes like velvety fans; the slender brows and dainty nose painted her face perfectly; and those saccharine sweet lips unforgettably complimented her glossy pale skin. The crowd watching her saw the epitome of beauty and confidence. [Ex-Host Ye Ai, you have been granted a ‘second chance’ to redeem yourself from your previous sins. Are you willing to accept?] A cold voice sounded the moment she stepped in the enormous hall. There was no one there aside from her but she knew they’re there, watching her every move. She held her state of mind and tossed away all unnecessary thoughts. It wasn’t time yet. “Yes,” her sweet voice answered simply but she let her nervousness to look like permeating from her every body movement. [Divine Agreement, Covenant has been created.] There was a warm energy that embraced her and then silently left, as if it never came. She knew it was another of their safety net. And it disgusted her more. She waited for the main dish of this discussion. [Host, you will now be bonded with a pioneer system to help you complete your task. Please wait.] And that’s the cue.  She released her power and smoothly linked to the administrating energies and into the network. Suddenly, the hall seemed like a bad reception of radio and telecast. Everything went blurry and figures of people or something can be vaguely seen around the hall. Then there was chaos in the flowing energies in the vicinity. “Stop her!” someone shouted. “We should have killed her before!” another lamented but another answered it. “En, why don’t you try!” “Stop fighting with ourselves, seize her first!” “Should have never let her out of that hole!” Different voices echoed everywhere as varying origins of energies tried to suppress her and all she could do was keeled over to the floor in great pain, her forehead now full of beads of sweat. She hadn’t even the time to breathe when another voice sounded. [Welcome Host! I am System 3611 at your service. Eh, why are you at the floor?] This new voice sounded like a child. It was pure and sweet. And everyone was shut up, surprised or simply shocked dumb, she can tell both. [Host? Why are there many shadows here? They’re a bit… scary.] “W-who a-are you?” asked the woman in white. She felt weak and her body was aching but deep inside she felt proud and triumphant. She did it. The first part of the plan was a success and unless these maggots admin would rather destroy their own blood bank, they won’t touch her new contract. She actually had a fair idea why she was given a parole. [I am System 3611 and I am here to help you complete your tasks. Don’t worry, I have the latest updates of all systems in the network so I’m the best partner everywhere!] “Preposterous! We arranged a pioneer system to monitor this bane!” Just after the lively introduction of System 3611, along the shadows around the hall, another voice sounded harshly. It effectively eradicated all positive feelings in the area. There was buzzing, discontented murmurs and wailing from those shadows. “You! What did you do?!” This voice was actually talking to her. She showed a scared expression before answering. “I d-don’t know.” “This is all a ploy! What did you do earlier?” “I r-really don’t k-know! There was just something warm and then… and then… I felt I was bursting. I don’t know!” she didn’t stood from the floor and started crying whole-heartedly. She erased all other emotions and memories, just her fears and confusions were left. “…” “...” “...” She cried while still trying to explain, stuttering all over the place. “I-I r-really—” On and on but no one wanted to stop her. No one actually stopped her. [Um, host, don’t worry it’s not your fault.] System 3611 finally spoke. Earlier it was scared with all the incongruities but since it can no longer take the bullying of these stupid shadows with its host, it finally found its courage. It wanted to send them away but it has no idea where they were exactly at the moment or who exactly were these creepy shadows. Its program was only to help its host in every task they’re assigned with. That’s all. And yet, it seemed some mere shadows won’t let them do its job ah! [You, no bullying! If my host really did something then show us proof. If you cannot show then stop harassing us! We have tasks to do which is part of the binding contract. Can you compensate when we’re punished because we haven’t started?!] “This…” “…” “… should be a baby system.” “Better terminate them both.” “Stupid system.” [What! You’re the stupid! Stupid shadows!] “S-stop, System 3611. It’s all my fault,” the woman sobbed on the floor. “Please let the system go, just punish me,” she seemed heartbroken for effecting someone innocent. “…” no one spoke from the crowd of shadows. [Host, don’t! I won’t let them bully you. I will report them to administrators!] “Be good, 3611. You don’t know what has really happened. I… I did awful things,” she lamented. In her eyes mirrored both her remorse for her previous sins and morose about her future. [I don’t care what you did. You’re my host now and we are bound to do tasks. Else, can these shadows replenish the energies used with our contract? Everyone knew we are lacking energies because of incompetent hosts!] The girl in white bowed her head as realization flashed her eyes. No one saw this and she didn’t comment on the systems recount. [We used to be very efficient until those hosts who thought they found eternal love from one world started believing their partner will be reincarnated with them in their every task worlds. Instead of doing their tasks they wasted time looking for something that’s not there!] System 3611 was still fuming since it was the reason why many systems were also destroyed. It wasn’t something similar with the legendary System 11, but all the same, systems were destroyed when the host failed to do their tasks. “Halt system, you’re over ruling your program. These are classified information!” one of the shadows finally stopped this raging system. “Anymore and we’ll be forced to terminate both of you!” [Terminate! Terminate ah! Who are you to do that eh?!] “System, be good. They are the administrators,” the woman gently explained to her system. [Eh…?] “Please don’t punish system 3611. It didn’t know what it’s doing. I'm ready to return to that room again even for forever, just don’t punish 3611.” The woman’s figure on the floor, weak and almost pleading, was very moving. Those administrators understood the severity of the punishment this woman had borne. If it was them they would have long lost their minds and so their power, as well. Also, they can still remember her before her great sin and can’t help soften their eyes. She was so earnest back then, so pure and so ready to reach her goals. They knew her story and can’t say they don’t understand somehow. [Host…] System 3611 has no idea what comprised its host’s declaration but it knew that she’s trying to protect it. It felt good; it never believed it could get such wonderful host. [I’m sorry for being disrespectful to you administrators and if you’re going to punish my host then please punish me with her!] “3611,” she looked up in the empty space in surprise. She didn’t know this new system would be this honest and loyal. Truly endearing. “…” There was silence as everyone waited for the verdict. There were shadows converging at certain focal then disentangle and then another one only to once again separated. Although they seemed to be talking to each other there was no other sound in the vicinity. Finally, after who knew how long, one shadow stood in front of the woman and spoke. “In behalf of the Main God, we are pushing this parole for one [Ye Ai]. Your system is Sytem 3611. Your job is simple, finish all your tasks in each world wonderfully. However, when you reach the end, instead of letting you return to your old world which is never possible now, it’s proposed to give you freedom the moment you reach the Legendary Level. Do you accept?” “Yes.”
