I just want the world to know that it sucks being a 19 year old antisocial introvert. I mean, I get nervous talking to strangers or just being out in public. And meeting new people is a nightmare. But I am starting college in a few months so I'll probably come out of my shell by then, I'll be a totally different person. Yep. That'll happen. I'll probably get a tattoo and a nose piercing. I always wanted a nose piercing. "vrrt, vrrt" "Oh, someone is texting me" It's a message from my bestie. She wants to know if I want to hang out at the mall but I'm in a kind of Youtube and chill sort of mood. And the mall has too many people on Saturdays. Plus I'm broke. Oh, and now she's calling me. In the middle of Target. And she knows I hate calling, we were doing so well with texting. But whatever she's my only friend. I half walk half jog to the back of the store where the maternity section is located. It's almost always empty. I guess no one gets pregnant anymore. I duck behind a mannequin and answer the call, you know, as to not draw attention to myself. "Hey, come to the mall with me" she says without even saying hi. "Well hello to you too". "Nash you have to come to the mall with me". "Um, no I feel kinda sick today I think I'm gonna just go home. Besides, my mom is waiting for me so i gotta hurry up and get out of here, she gets really impatient so". "Come on, that guy that works at Typo is working there today and I want to spy on him". "Wow, creepy". The typo guy is kinda hot, but I really just want to go home. I've already been here for thirty minutes. "Um, Sam I really gotta go and I promise we'll spy on Typo guy another time seeyalaterbye!" I hung up on her. She'll forgive me though. "vrrt vrrt". Someone else is texting me. I'm popular today. Wait- never mind, Its just my mom. She says I took too long so I'm walking home. Great. Thanks a lot Sam. I jam my phone into my pocket and head to self checkout. I am definitely watching Youtube AND eating ice cream tonight. And I'm not getting up until one tomorrow.
