The Human Queen

My name is Davis Caine to humans I am eighteen years old. When I'm asked I am eighteen or at least that's what I tell them. I'm really three hundred years old and I am a vampire the vampire prince if you want to be exact. I have almost everything I could possibly want. Two loving parents who have given me everything I could ask for. Their names are Marcus and Margret Caine and they are the current king and queen. I also have a younger sister her name is Rosemary Caine she is thirteen she was born a lot later in life. She is the princess of our family but she never let's it go to her head must people think she is a spoiled brat till they get to know her but once they do they love her.  I also have two of the best friends anyone could ask for we have known each other our whole lives. Andrew Stanford and Mathew Reynolds they are my second and third in command. they are great I can call them night or day and they'll dump everything to help me.  I literally have the definition of a perfect life but I still feel empty and I will until I find her. My other half, my beloved, my soulmate, or my soul. I need her by my side and I will never stop looking till I find her only she can rule by my no other will and when I find her I will protect no one will ever hurt her.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               "Dad we need to talk", I say walking into his office with Andy and Matt hot on my trail. "Good morning to all of you as well", dad says with a chuckle as mom puts her book down. "Yes fine good morning to both you as well", I tell them slightly annoyed. "Don't be sour on this lovely morning now tell us what's on your mind", mom says with a smile. "I want to go search for her again", I tell them making a serious look cross my dads face while my mom keeps smiling. "Please I know I can find her this time", I tell them begging to go search again.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          My dad sighs sitting back down in his chair rubbing his hand through his hair. "You've already searched several times I don't know but the council wants us to convince you", he starts to say but I cut him off with hiss knowing what he's about to say. "Don't finish that sentence I know what the council wants and I'll never agree to an arrangement", I shout causing my dad to jump out of his seat. "Don't you dare cut me off again son or not I will not tolerate disrespect", he's says in a threatening tone making both Andy and Matt flinch behind me. We stand there staring at each other neither of backing down power oozing off us I hear both Andy and Matt gulp behind me. I don't want to fight my dad it's a fight neither of us would walk away from  but I'll be damned if I marry someone other than my soulmate. "Both of you stop this now I will not have my husband and son killing each other on such a nice day", My mother shouts slapping us both upside the head making me and dad both flinch. Dad maybe king and rule over vampires but mom is queen and the only person who can put him in his place and that goes for me to she is terrifying when she is angry. " Marcus I love you your my soulmate but sometimes your so stupid think of how you would feel if your father had forced you into an arranged marriage you would never feel whole you always feel as though something was missing and you know those who never find their soulmate usually wind up sinking into a deep depression and either going mad or killing themselves and I will not bury my son before me", mom says her smile gone and sadness in her eyes.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     "I say we let him go I believe he will find her and as for those old farts in the council well they can go f**k themselves neither of my children will be entering an arranged marriage and as for the council they need to stop putting their noses  where it don't belong", mom says with finality in her voice sitting down and taking a sip of tea. We don't need to eat or drink human foods or drinks to survive but we love the taste. Mom has never liked the council she says their to set in the old ways which is true.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     "Alright fine but you have to take Andy and Matt with you I don't want you to go alone", he says with a sigh knowing moms right. "I do have two questions before you boys go", he says making me groan and my dad chuckle. "And what might they be", I asking wanting to hurry and get ready to go find her. "How do you know your gonna find her this time and whee do you plan on looking". my dad asks. "I'll find her I've been visiting her in her dreams", I tell causing my dad's eyes to wide and mom to spit her tea. "Oh my this is exciting you know what this means right Marcus I'm gonna have another daughter and eventually grandchildren my claps excitedly. "Yes dear I am aware of this but it also could mean she is some sort of danger and judging by the look on your face I say I'm right in thinking that", dad says causing moms expression to drop into a worried one. "I'm not completely sure but I believe so I have feeling if I don't get to her soon something bad is gonna happen", I tell them.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   "And here is where I believe she is", I say slapping my hand down on the world map hanging on his wall. "Son that's on of the major cities in the U.S do you believe she is human", dad asks now standing leaning against his desk. "Yes I believe so which is why I haven't found her yet", I say making mom nod. "That makes sense the last time you searched she would not have been born yet", mom says and I nod in agreement. "Alright if your going there I'm calling the Red Night Pack their our closest allies in that area", dad says making me groan. "Dad please know that particular alpha annoys the hell out of me", I tell him not wanting to deal with that guy. "I'm well aware of that but he is our ally and can provide protection besides he's not that bad now get going while I make the call", dad says shooing us out. "Bye honey bring back my new daughter", mom shouts making me grin as we leave.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     "Dude this so great not only are you gonna find your soulmate but we also get to see New York this is so awesome I can't wait", Matt says practically bouncing. "Wait your leaving", Rosemary says running to Matt grabbing him around the waist. We found Rose is Matt's mate when she turned thirteen a few months ago but he has promised to be her best friend till she's sixteen and realizes for herself then he will mark her if it's her wish but he said he wasn't going to anything further until she chooses and is ready to settle down and start a family. "Don't worry my rose I'll be back and when I get back we'll have movie night and watch whatever you want", He says with smile giving her a hug. "Okay but where are you guys going", she asks letting go and looking at me. "We my dear sister are going after my beloved soulmate", I tell making her jump excitedly. "Yay finally a sister I can play with can she join our movie night please", she asks Matt happily. "If that is what you wish anything for you", he says making he squeal before running off. "Bye guys hurry back I'm gonna start planning", She says hurrying down the hall.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             "Dude I think we should bring Jenny she could help especially if your mate really is human", Andy says making me think. "Yeah that's a good idea", Matt says making me nod and agree. Jenny is Andy's beloved she is also human they found each other years ago. "Yeah I agree having Jenny there might calm her once she finds out what we are and put her mind at ease that we won't hurt her", I tell him. "I was thing the same thing", he says. "Yeah sure dude you were thinking that and how you don't wanna be away from her", Matt says making kissy faces at Andy. "Okay enough Andy find Jenny and get ready Matt you go get ready and say bye to Rose if you don't she will call me a hundred times", I tell him making him laugh.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             As I walk down the hall to my room all I can think about is her and how happy she will be I will give her anything she wants. No one will ever hurt her if they do they will have me to deal with for even trying. I will give her the world for she is my human queen and I will protect her.
