burned bridges

 The shrill sounds of her iPhone  alarm ripped Andy out of her not so restful sleep, "Jeezus" Andy sleepily said as she reached out and turned off her alarm. "well that's a fun way to wake up" Andy muttered to her self trying to get her heart rate back to normal. Andy stretched rubbed her grey eyes checked her text messages , after reopening the message she had sent to Taylor las night and seeing that he still had not replied Andy's heart sank. " of course it was only a dream, I should have known when he actually cared what I said" Andy muttered "whatever" . Clumsily climbing out of bed and making her way to the bathroom Andy looked at herself in the mirror , "yuck" was all she could think while looking at her refection of her vampire pale skin, blue/green eyes and a mess of bleach blonde curly hair, which at the moment was sticking up in every direction. as Andy looked closer at the dark circles under eyes she wished that she was prettier like the other girls at school , glancing at her phone she cursed "for f**k sake I am going to be late again" . Andy quickly jumped into the shower finally waking up more and started thinking about the day. after finishing her shower Andy wiped the steam from the bathroom mirror and looked at herself again with her hair now dripping wet and stick straight she wished she had time to blow dry and straighten it but she was already going to be late as it was . " Alright lets actually try to not look gross today , that would be a good idea " Andy muttered as she pumped out some Dove amplified texture cream and racked it through her hair followed by gel and finally moose , making her way back to her bedroom Andy pulled out her favorite skinny jeans, a salmon colored sweater and her Steve Madden booties. finally dressed and finished with Makeup Andy rushed downstairs to grab something to eat.  After grabbing a mug of coffee and half or a Costco muffin Andy rushed out of the house with her laptop , notebook and food. sitting in her Chevy impala Andy plugged her phone into her iPhone charger. which turned on her CarPlay app. after one one glance at her phone and seeing that there was still no response to her text from last night started driving to school.       Once Andy got to school she looked at her phone again. and after seeing that there was still no response from Taylor she quickly typed out a slightly angry text to him,  " Thanks Tay really appriciate you actually texting me back  :("  even though logically Andy knew that Taylor was perfectly fine and nothing had happened that all to familiar nawing  feeling in the pit of her stomache would not go away , trying to ignore that feeling she quickly read   the message that her best friend Ashley  had sent earlier on her way to school  .  Ashley:    Hey are you going to be coming to school today? I totally forgot to do my math last night and I need. to see yours , PlEEEEEEase :    Andy: Hey yea I just got here , but big surprise I didn't do it either lol Ashley : Great , well where are you ? I am so tired I need coffee before class, I can not get the stink eye from Mrs Ross when I want to sleep Andy : Yea hey Ill meet you at Starbucks Ill be there in like 2 minutes .  Ashley : cool   Andy glanced at her phone which felt like the millionth time that morning and rolled her grey eyes when seeing that there was still no message from Taylor and angrily shoved her phone in her pocket before grabbing her purse, laptop and books for class and started to walk across the campus to the Starbucks . not for the first time Andy was over whelmed walking through the commons area , even though she had been going to SFS for the past month she was still getting used to all the students and it always made her social anxiety act up when she was walking by herself , which is why she usually "hid" in her phone when she was on her own. .
