A Vampire for a Mate (Twin Lycans for mates Part 2)

(Lorie) I lick the blood from my lips watching the woman I just fed from walk away from me in daze. After she disappears into the night, I look around me to make sure no one has seen me. Once satisfied that no one was around I use my vampire speed to make it to the hotel. I was summoned for a job.. my last job since I wanted out for good. To be honest I was already out, but they said this one needed to be looked at carefully. As I opened the door to my hotel room, I sense someone nearby. I reach for my dagger an as soon as I turn, I come face to face with Sasha. "Whoa" she puts her hands up as if letting me know she was no threat. Sasha and I, both do the same job, the only difference between Sasha and I is that she's a full vampire. I'm half vampire half human, a Hunter to be exact. I have all the strengths of a vampire with a few special gifts. Sunlight does not bother me, neither does garlic, or crosses. "What are you doing here Sasha?" I asked flatly. I pulled my knife away from her but kept it in my hand. Something I learned is to never trust anyone in this job. "He wants to see you now" she says. I sigh closing the door to my hotel room and follow Sasha tour destination. "I still don't see why you can't do this job. Why does it have to be me?" I asked. Sasha is almost as good as I am. Keyword almost, but the fact that they have called me for this job does not sit right with me knowing we hunt for different reasons. "I have another job to do and the others are busy, so this one is yours" she says not sparing me a glance. We arrived at our destination and she opens the door. I don't wait for Sasha to walk in. I enter the room, and everything goes quiet. All eyes turn to me, but I don't let it bother me I hold my head high and walked towards the man who has call for me to take on this job. " Lorie I'm glad you could join us in such a short notice" Dimitri the leader of the group says. I have known Dimitri for a long time. He used to be a good man, but during the years greed and power took over the good he once had. We stopped seeing things eye to eye about four or five years ago. It's why I left. "Dimitri" I acknowledge him. "There has been another murder" he says. "There's always a murder somewhere, Dimitri. Why am I really here? I told you I don't do this kind of job anymore" I reminded him. "I know, but I was hoping that maybe you could help us with this one for the last time. We need to protect the innocent" he says and shows me pictures of a woman with blond hair and gray eyes. She has and what appears to be claw marks down her face to her neck. Half of her neck is missing as if it was ripped out. Then I noticed a few more pictures of different women with the same claw marks but something is off I just don't know what. "Since when does this go back to?" I asked. "The first murder was five and a half years ago" Dimitri says handing me a picture of another woman with red hair and incredibly beautiful emerald green eyes. She had a whole through her chest. "Her name was Rose. She had twins Alphas for mates. The Alphas of the Black Moon Pack. When they found her, everyone thought that she was killed by her own mates, but evidence did not lead to them. Evidence let nowhere, but these other four murders also seems to stop everyone in their tracks because everything leads to the twin Alphas" he says. I look up at him when he said this, and I saw a dark twinkle in Dimitris’ eye. The bad feeling intensified and I knew there was something they were leaving out. There is no way anyone could kill their mate. You must be heartless to kill your other half. "Okay if everything leads to the twin Alphas. Why do you need me?" I asked. I knew why he called me. I was really good at my job too good to be honest. "I want you to kill the twin Alphas, but I want you to keep in mind these… Alphas are not your regular were wolves. These are Lycans… hybrid Lycans" Dimitri said plainly. ‘I thought all Lycans were extinct’ I thought to myself. I looked at the evidence and look back at him then back down at the evidence. Something definitely wasn't right. From what I have read Lycans are the first species of our kind. Pure and they will never go against the moon goddess especially if it has something to do with their mates. There's no way Dimitris can find so much evidence to link to somebody. Many years ago, I made a promise to hunt for a reason, not for sport, or money, or personal reasons. I promised to hunt to protect and to make sure all sides had a fair share of living their lives as they wish. I needed to dig deeper into this and find the truth. Could these twin alphas know what happened? I needed to know especially if it meant getting to the bottom of this. Knowing Dimitri screwed me over a long time ago and I will not let it happen again. "Fine" what's all I said. He looked surprised that I took the job without asking any more questions, but I only did it because I knew he was up to something. "Good. You have a week. If by the end of your week they're not dead Sasha will take over" an evil grin took over his face and I pushed down the urge to shiver. "One of the twin alphas will be at the Bound Club. The one of the left is Kellan Black the other is Killian Black" Sasha hands me a picture with two brothers incredibly handsome. I quickly spotted that one was a little bit taller than the other. one seemed to like leaving a five o'clock shadow on his face why are the other like to be clean shaved. I got the picture of the along with the files of the dead women and the box of evidence. Without another word I left and made back to my hotel room. As soon as I got to my room, I grab my stuff then went to the office, returning the key to my room and letting them know I was leaving. I use my vampire speed to get to my small cabin out in the woods. I haven't been here in an exceedingly long time an honestly, I never thought I would use it again. It brings back so many memories. My eyes landed on a picture of my parents. It's a picture of my parents in the backyard laughing. My father was a hunter until he met my mom they fell in love and had me. My father stop hunting for sport, or money. He started hunting to make sure to protect and make sure all sides how to equal opportunity to live as they wish. The same promise I made. Mom also helped him. Mom believed in the same cause as my father, and I believe that as well. I didn't see things how other hunters or other supernatural saw it. There is good and evil in this world whether is supernatural or non-supernatural there's always good and evil. I looked away from the picture and focus on what I needed to do. I pushed the coffee table away and used the living room as an office. I took out the pictures spread them all around with the evidence I then grabbed a map and with a red marker started marking where the bodies were found. For some reason, all four bodies were found around the Black Moon Pack just not in their territory but around it. And because they were human it seems like the pack didn't pay attention to it. But the first murder Rose, the Alphas' mate was actually found ten miles away from their pack behind the mall from what I read here. I look at all the pictures and they all have the same marks except for Rose. I sighed I'm definitely going need more than week, but I know that if I don't do this in a week Sasha's going to be sent in. I look at the papers and focus on the time that is girls were killed. Whoever killed these girls they killed one each week and at the same time. I needed to see the bodies of these girls, but first I needed to see Kellan Black. I grab my bag I went to my room. I grab a towel I want to go take a shower. I washed my hair, wash my body, shaved, and washed my body again. When I finished, I towel dried myself then went back to my room. I look for laced thong and matching bra. By then grabbed a pair of low-rise black jeans that are ripped on the right thigh. I then grabbed a dark red tank top and a graphic crop top hoodie. After I finished getting dressed, I put on my knee-high black boots. I let my hair loose in its natural curls. For my makeup I did a smoky eye, eyeliner, mascara, and a dark red matte lipstick. Satisfied with my luck I made my way to the club.
