Chapter[1] INTRODUCTION
My name is Lara Cila. I'm sixteen but look more mature than my age. I am the one and only daughter of Peter Cila, a great businessman. I'd say we are very rich and I always get whatever I want..or let's put it like this: I AM DADDY'S LITTLE ANGEL.
We've lived in many different countries like China, I grew up there and the UK, now New York City in the United states. Daddy wouldn't leave me behind during all his business trips and daddy never dated HER.
We are all we've got, with Magritte who's been living with us for over eleven years now. Magritte and I always tag along during all of daddy's business trips. Basically, these lots of movements would have affected my studies but they didn't, each time I changed schools, dad always hires a new tutor to help with my studies.
Magritte is not just a nanny, to me she's someone precious but she is annoying and loving. Her annoying side is whenever she learned or noticed I broke up with a guy, she had wanted to talk about it which I don't like at all.
She kinda reads my mind and knows when I'm down or sad or Let's rather say she's like a mom to me. But the word "MOM" hurts.
I know I don't act like a regular girlfriend, Austin we're so done!!! I yell at my phone and press the hang-up button.
"Lara, we're late! Dad calls from downstairs.
"Daddy, do we ever have to move here. Everything New! Both school and a new nanny, I'm tired of changing schools and cities! Ugh.
"No new nanny, Magritte will move in today OK?. So when you come back from school you're gonna meet her here and I've thought about it... You know we won't be moving out again.. I will be going on business trips alone cause you are all grown now, so be fast let me drop you off I'm late for work.
I walked and stopped halfway down the stairs "Oh, gracious lord, I breath." I'm ready to go". I say walking to the kitchen." Wow, what do we have here?!.
"Made tea for my little angel. No yoo daddy or a peck? dad asked ." Are you there? he asks and turns to face me. "Wow, you look gorgeous, just like her". He says in a sad voice.
"Hell.. not like her but you". I smiled sensing the change in the air.
"Oh my goodness, Lara what's wrong? Why the long face?" Dad asks, touching my face.
"Morning daddy... Sorry for saying it now. '' I smile and walk to sit in the dining room. "And I'm just kinda fine". I laugh trying to sound fine. While He eyed me in a funny way.
"Hey! Don't look at me like that... It's just Austin. '' Although daddy is always busy with work he always makes out time for the both of us. And My Daddy is the best.
"Did you guys fight again?.
"No,..he just keeps saying I don't act like a regular girl so I broke up with him, could you believe that Austin could say s**t like that? I asked while forcing loads of bread into my mouth.
"Sorry hun, Maybe he's just not the right guy for you or maybe you guys should just take a little break before considering breaking up."
"We are over, no consideration". I scoffed at the thought of the dude.
Austin is or was my second boyfriend, Now that I am thinking about it, he has this weird smile which I disliked and the dude was the " HOTTEST" back at Payne high school London. If that's what they call hottest... He's got zero and I on the other hand only went after him because of the bet I had with my bitchy friend Becca on whom to get the hottest Austin first you know I ALWAYS GET WHAT I WANTED.
"OK, so any new friends yet? Daddy smiles.
"Hey! I'm tryna cope with the environment first, not the ugly boyos there.
Dad turned and walked to where I was sitting in the dining still forcing bread into my mouth "Darling, you don't have to use that word, it's inappropriate and not all of them are ugly...just eat slowly and finish your meal first. Let me drop you off to school.
"I'm full already". I groaned, imitating a baby's voice. "Mm...daddy".
"Naah, have another bite OK? I don't want you to lose weight because of new school stress okay?.
"Satisfied? I shriek as I eat the last bread on the plate and carry them to the dishwasher, then make my way to the front door.
"Hey, wait let me give you a ride. Daddy says untying the apron, he tied around his neck in a funny way.
"I can drive myself and I haven't ridden my baby since we came here! You've been doing the driving remember?. I love you! I yell and walk back to where I kept my backpack with my car keys from the table." love you!
" Love you too angel, drive carefully.
"I will!!
