Camila has a deep, dark secret that no one knows about. Found as a rogue child, she was taken in by the Sen Pack and deemed as an Omega. A merging of the Sen Pack and the Angel Moon Pack brings Camila face to face with a cold and untrusting Alpha, named Caspian. On the eve of her seventeenth birthday, she finds out that her fated mate is the Alpha! If that wasn't enough of a curve ball, a deadly plague ravages the pack lands and it only has one cure but it will require a drastic sacrifice from one of the pack members. Will Alpha Caspian accept an omega as his mate? What is Camila's secret? How did this plague occur and what is its radical cure?

***Excerpt***

Pulling back, he growled.

"Stop leaving your scent everywhere and driving my wolf crazy. I could smell it in the breeze and lost control."

I felt his growing bulge as I gasped as it throbbed against my clothed folds. His eyes were pitch black as he attacked my neck with kisses and bites, grinding his bulge against my dress. A soft moan escaped my lips as he did which drove him into a frenzy. He pushed my dress to the side and kissed the top parts of my chest, licking my marking spot seductively.

New Beginnings
----New Beginnings---- ***Camila's POV*** "Camila?  Wake up!  It's time for us to get breakfast ready for the pack."  I felt a soft nudge against my tiny frame as I blurrily opened my eyes with an annoyed groan. "Belle, it's still night-time.  Let me sleep!"  I let out a soft whimper before I felt my entire body propelled off the mattress, landing on the cold hard ground. Growling, I looked up to see Belle smirking. "Rise and shine, princess.  Today, we needed to get up earlier to make cinnamon rolls for the pack, remember?" I sneered at my friend before getting up.  The sun had barely crept up above the horizon much to my dismay.  While I stretched, I could feel the tingling sensation of my body waking up. "If you weren't my best friend, I would have killed you for forcing me off my bed."  I pouted as Belle only laughed. "Oh yes, I am so afraid of an omega like myself."  She rolled her eyes. "Now leave so I can get ready!"  I shooed my friend away and shut the door. As I was alone, I undressed while a crescent moon birthmark on my right breast came into view. "Mother, I miss you."  I thought to myself, placing my hand against the mark as it glowed yellow and stopped once I took my hand off of the mark. "I know you are not in this world now, but I promise, I'm safe here."  I whispered before getting dressed in an ankle length black skirt and a tight pink top that barely accentuated my small chest.  My thin golden locks weren't anything to write home about but my piercing lavender colored eyes made others stop and stare at me.   I hated the attention that my eyes gave me as I desperately wanted to stay under the radar but I did have to thank them for giving me a home in the Sen pack. They had found me as a rogue child when I was only four years old.  The Luna absolutely adored my eyes and felt a strong compulsion to give me a home in their pack.  I knew why she had the deep desire to bring me into the pack but I kept the secret to myself.  I've always kept this secret to myself. Finally dressed, I put my hair up in a sloppy bun and met Belle in the kitchen. "Geez, Cami, I could have taken five showers in the time you took to get dressed."  Belle teased while I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, yeah.  Says the girl who takes a full day to put makeup on to impress the Beta of the pack."  I teased back as she turned at least fifty shades of scarlet. "That is NOT true, Cami!"  She squeaked as her fiery red hair turned away from me, pretending to knead the dough. Chuckling, I went to complete my tasks. After about two hours in the kitchen, the hungry werewolves came in as if a dam had exploded and they were the waters that came crashing through. "It smells like heaven!" The irresistible smells from the kitchen of cinnamon and sugar had brought out many compliments as the pack seated themselves. "Are there goddesses in the kitchen today?"  A male voice startled us as we brought cinnamon rolls out of the oven. Belle refused to look at the man as I smiled warmly. "Beta Alek, it is a pleasure to see you this morning.  I'm afraid there are no goddesses, only Belle and myself!"   Alek was the youngest Beta at eighteen years old while Belle and I were sixteen respectively.  He always came in to wish us good morning but his eyes stayed glued permanently to Belle.  It was obvious to me that they were fated even if she was an omega.   Smirking, I grabbed the cinnamon rolls and abandoned Belle with Alek to serve the tables.  I know I'd get an earful for it later but it was only a small bit of revenge for throwing me off my bed this morning. Suddenly, Alpha Darius got up and clinked his water glass with his fork to draw attention. The pack all quieted down and turned their attention to their Alpha.  Their Luna sat beside him with her eyes almost unreadable.  I had a bad feeling about this but I couldn't pinpoint what it was. "I have an announcement to make.  Alpha Caspian Trevino of the Angel Moon Pack will be coming here tomorrow to meet with us to discuss some pack matters.  I expect you all to be on your best behavior."  The Alpha boomed as his voice was thick with authority. The pack's shocked and confused faces mirrored my own internal feelings.   An Alpha from another pack was coming?  The largest and most powerful English pack, no less?  What could he want? "Cami?"  Belle whispered as I realized that I had frozen myself in place with the announcement. "Oh, sorry!"  I blushed as I went back into the kitchen. My birthmark felt warm against my clothing as I gently nodded to myself.  I knew what it meant and had calmed down the anxious feelings that were like a whirlwind inside my mind. Breakfast finished without another word from the Alpha as we cleaned up. Afterwards, we were pulled over by the Luna and given a small four course meal list to prepare for Alpha Caspian's arrival. "Why do you think they are pulling out all the stops for this Alpha?"  Belle whispered to me after the Luna left. "Not sure, but we will just have to find out tomorrow."  I held my voice steady but my mind grew rampant with the possibilities. Would there be an arranged marriage?  Would there be an alliance? Was it just purely a visit? Was it some declaration of war?   I bit and chewed against my bottom lip as my mind wandered. I knew one thing though. I felt it purely in my heart, in my soul. My life was going to definitely change after today. ----Alpha Caspian Trevino---- ***Camila's POV*** The next day crept up on me much like an unwanted guest.  Growling, I forced myself up and got dressed in a plain dress, tying my hair up.  The sooner that this Alpha left, the better.  A knock sounded at my door and opened before I even could get the door. “Don’t tell me that you’re wearing THAT today!”  The look on Belle’s face could be best described as if someone had seen the most disgusting, moldy piece of food outside on a hot, sunny day. “What’s wrong with it?”  I huffed.  I hated attracting attention to myself and often wore plain clothing to blend into the crowd. “I’ll be right back!  You better stay there!”  Belle pointed her finger at me threateningly before disappearing like a thief in the night. Sighing, I flopped onto my bed.  “I’m not some doll to be dressed up.”   A few minutes later, Belle came back with a navy blue dress and a pair of heels. “You’ve got to be kidding me, Belle.  I’m not wearing that and you will not pay me to wear that.”  I scowled at her. “Please!  The Alpha wants us all to be nicely dressed today.”  Her eyes pleaded. “FINE!  Only because the Alpha wants it.”  I snatched the dress from her and went to change in my bathroom. Looking at myself in the mirror, the blue brought out my rare, purple eyes.  The color made my eyes shimmer as if my eyes were endless pools of purple hues.  I had to give it to her.  She always was the fashionable one. Putting on the heels, I stepped out to her gasping. “Cami!  You look GREAT!”  Tears formed in her eyes as I quickly waved her off. “Don’t cry!  It’s not that special.  Let’s go to the kitchen and prepare for his royal highness.”  My sarcasm dripped in poisonous waves from my voice as I left my room first with Belle behind me. Belle and I proceeded to put on aprons to not get our dresses dirty.   We fastened our aprons with ease and quickly got to work.  After toiling for hours in the kitchen, a few more omegas came in to grab the food to set the tables up.  These omegas were other friends of ours, Beth and Brandy.  They usually worked in other parts of the pack house as we were on kitchen duty.  Today, they helped with the banquet. Brandy waved as she came over to us.  “Are you ladies keeping up?  Alpha will be upset if something goes wrong today!”  She warned as I quickly nodded. “Yes, mistress Brandy.  Everything is going according to plan, boss!”  I teased her as Brandy was always the one who wanted to keep everything in order and on track.  I loved that about her as she kept me accountable. Brandy had pitch black hair and gorgeous amber colored eyes.  Her figure could make ANY girl jealous and she had the attention of most of the warrior wolves in our pack.  I also adored the fact that I looked like I didn’t exist next to her.  I hope she stayed during the banquet. “Do you need help with anything?  I could teach you how to do something for the banquet if you are unsure of what to do?”  Beth came up as she smiled warmly.  The aura she gave off always was one of a helper and I deeply respected her. Her honey brown hair glistened in the sunshine that peeked through the windows as it always reminded me of a warm fall day.  She helped teach the pups customs and duties of being in a pack.  I felt a sense of calm whenever she was around and knew we would be in good hands. Brandy, Belle, Beth, and I were the inseparable quartet in the pack.  We always joked we were the three “B” Musketeers and the “C” sidekick since I always wanted to stay in their shadow.  It was safer for me to stay in their shadow. Soon after, Brandy and Beth took the dishes into the dining hall and left Belle and me there. We heard the Alpha in our heads shortly after. “Everyone in the Sen pack, please come to the dining room.  This includes all omegas as well.” “Yes Alpha.”  We all said in unison as I shot Belle a look. She shrugged and we made our way to the dining hall, standing in the back. A muscular man that I’d never seen was seated at the front of the table.  His silver hair shimmered like the finest metal in the sunlight as his inquisitive blood red eyes scanned the room.  I shrunk back at the fact that he was scanning the room. His eyes landed on me as mine looked at his, with his breath hitching in his throat for a moment. Alpha Darius came in with his Luna as the room was silent enough that a pin could be heard if it dropped. The silver haired man got up, not breaking contact with me as I felt a sense of apprehension. “Why was he looking at me?”  I thought but my wave of thought was suddenly interrupted by Alpha Darius. “May I introduce Alpha Caspian Trevino of the Angel Moon pack.” Wait, he was the Alpha?! Alpha Caspian’s eyes finally left mine as they turned towards our Alpha. “Thank you, Alpha Darius.  As you know, your pack does not have an heir to lead it after Alpha Darius and his Luna are reunited with the Moon Goddess.  They have searched for years for an orphaned Alpha to take over without success.  They have approached me and my pack concerning this dilemma.  We have decided that the best course of action is to merge the pack into the Angel Moon pack, effective in two weeks.  We will take this time to extend our pack house to accommodate everyone on our lands.  These lands will also belong to us as we undoubtedly grow from this union.”  His voice was deep and emotionless as he addressed us.   A sense of dizziness came over me at the news.  He was going to be our new Alpha?  We wouldn’t be the Sen pack anymore?  All of this confused me and set me at unease.  Would I be able to stay in the shadows in the new pack where I felt most comfortable? “You are all dismissed to go back to your duties, Omegas.”  Alpha Darius stated as I was nudged by Beth. “Come on, Cami, it looks like you’ve seen a ghost.”  Beth took my arm as she practically dragged me back into the kitchen. I looked up again to see Alpha Caspian’s eyes watching my every move until I disappeared into the kitchen.
