the unknown

    I'm wondering around. not remembering anything, or anyone. Not sure where I am, or what i am. Everything is dark, gloomy, and kinda grey. I keep walking around looking for something more bright, like a moth drawn to a light. After a while a few thing start to lighten up, there blury and I cant make out what they are. Heading straight for a bright mixed red, purple, and green blur.     I step through letting my eyes adjust, feeling a warmth wrap around me. I shiver. didn't even know I was cold. Letting my eyes adjust I look around seeing a sun set behind some mountains making the clouds a purple pink cream collar. I had mountains to both sides of me and a lake running don the middle to pool into a lake, encircled in mountains. I hear chirps and songs of birds being played. voices singing coming from the stream. but no one to belong to the voices.     There is an old stone/dirt path down each side of the stream. I'm on a porch of some sort. polished brown wood rails leading to steps on both sides.I walk towards the steps on the right to go investigate more of the voices and the songs. the wood so fine not a single splinter enters my palms or feet as i descend the stairs. As i reach the bottom of the stairs i relies I have no shoes on my feet, no clothes on my body. i stop and stiffen as i relies this. as if this place knows my thought a white robe pops up on the side of the house or building I was just in. I reach up and grab it off the hook its on and slide it over my arms and over my body tying it in front. I walk further, around the steps and down the grassy lawn down to the road.     at first i see nothing, nobody and everything is silent for a moment. Then as if it hadn't stopped at all the songs pick up again. I walk down the road slowly as to take in my surroundings, inching closer to the water.I step off the road onto the bank of the river. seeing fish like creatures with human like features jumping in the lake. I step a little closer, the ground under my feet turns slippery and I slide partly into the water. holding onto the ground as not to slide further into the water i look up. the fish like creatures no longer jumping in the water but now cautiously swimming buy. Except one.     Looking straight at me are purple eyes and a red haired creature. I sat there staring at it wondering what it was. It must have had the same Idea because after the rest of the creatures swam buy, It swam right up to me grabbing me buy the foot trying to pull me under.It screamed reviling sharp but tiny shark like teeth and the side of it's face poofing up like a lizard. it yanked and yanked, and I held on to the rock that was buried into the ground best I could, I pulled my self up feeling my stomach tighten against the cold water.     Using all my might I pull my self out of the river up onto the bank, noticing the creature let go. but now the creatures hand looked different, old almost. Maby it was just something I hadn't noticed before during my struggle. I start to stand up dusting myself off best I could noticing a fading red hand print left in my leg where it had grabbed me.     I walk back to the road still taking in my surroundings. A bird was in a tree that was a couple of feet away from me, It had a red body with the priestess of blue wings I ever saw. An orange beak and small black eyes. It chirped a different kind of chirp. kind of like a deep chirp, not a squeaky like one most bird do. It also wasn't screeching as much as the surrounding ones. i step closer to it lifting my hand to it in hopes it will come closer. Instead it looks at me frightend and squawked an almost aduble 'No" "trouble" and it flew off screeching "trouble" "trouble" "Trouble!!"     I was lost and confused why did everything run away from me? What were they scared of? I wasn't going to hurt them. But they didn't know that. I keep on down the road hearing more noises and voices, I followed them further down towards the pond. A fire could be seen in the distance lighting up the now dark sky. People were dancing and singing and rejoicing in every different toung, dance style, and way. The pond was full of activity and the bank surrounding the pond was just as full. Walking closer I could see the fire in the middle of the pond on some sort of little land thing.     "Rejoice, Rejoice my friends, we pass one on and gain one in return. Rejoice,Rejoice withe me!" said a voice but not sure where it was coming from.     "Here, It is here! Look over there if you don't believe me!" said the same voice. this time I saw who it belonged to a beautiful angel like creature with creamy coffee collard skin and wings so wight they could blind you. As if The world stood still everything and everyone looked at me. mouths opened and gasps where heard all over the lake and I'm sure some even in the lake. The beautiful Angel like creature came towards me her wings sending a welcoming vibe.     "What is your name my dear?" the creature asked as it landed by me.     "Ahh...Ahh" I couldn't find my voice. Not even sure how to talk.     "are you mute? If so that's ok "     "No" I respond.     "Well then tell us your name."     "I...I...I don't know" I said not knowing what else to say.     "That's alright we will give you a nick name...Hmmm. How abought rain? Your eyes are so light blue there almost clear." The angel said looking deep into my eyes. it felt like she was trying to search my soal.     "S...S...Sure. Rain..Hmm..I like it." i say smiling up to who will hopefully be my new friend.     "Well then so it is....RAIN!" it said loud enough for everyone to hear. "Welcome, we Rejoice in the fact that you have gifted us with your presence." Everyone cheared and yelled loudly as the party Recommenced.     "T ...T... Thank you very much." I try to say over the noise of all the creatures. "Whats your name?" I ask looking at it.     "I My dear am shaniqua." "I am the angel of life, and my twin shaquinta Is the angel of death. but don't let that fool you, we are just here to help the universe stay in order."
