Beautifully Pained

~Diamond's Pov~ I woke up in a cold sweat to my annoyingly blaring alarm clock. That was a dream I wished to never revisit. Today was my first day at my new school and I am already running behind. I rushed to the shower, using my coconut body wash and shampoo. I hurried to dry my hair and brush my teeth. Forgetting my clothes in my closet, I wrapped my towel around me. Ah no I left my window open, so i rushed to shut the blinds. Not living with anyone you forget that you need to shut the window's. I grabbed my black ripped up skinnies and a black spaghetti strapped tank top. I quicky put on some socks and my black leather jacket. I slid on some shoes and ran downstairs. Grabbing my back pack I walked towards the kitchen. While living with parents can help with breakfast, I had to forget about them, I grabbed a bannana on my way out the door. Sliding into the driver's seat of my black 1969 Ford mustang, I was on my way to school.  You know how they say that the new kid is always the talk of the school, well not true. I went to the office and asked the lady at the desk for my schedule. "How may I help you young lady?" she asked me kindly. I looked at her and smiled, "Yes I am Diamond Di Genova, I'm new here and I need my schedule please." I said in my thick Italin accent. Although I am not the best person, I still respect those who deserve it. She returned shortly with my schedule and a young man standing next to her. He was nicely built with a dazzling smile that would fool anyone, except me. He had sandy blonde hair and blue eyes.  "Hello," he said with a flirty tone, " I'm Daniel, and you are?" "Diamond" I said shaking his hand with one of my fakest smiles. I didn't want to get attatched to anyone again, even if they are a playboy like him. "Here is your schedule darling, Daniel here will show you to your classes." The receptionist said. "Thankyou so much for helping me ma'am." I replied.  Daniel held the door for me, taking me to my class rooms, or so I thought. "What is a female like you doing at a school like this?" he said with a cocky attitude. "You best keep your mouth shut with and attitude like that," I replied icily. He held his hands in surrender. "Woah, I was just asking, no need for the hurtful words." "Look I'm not here for friends, so I suggest you back off kid." He pushed me in to the stairwell fed up with my attitude. "Look," he said, "I don't know who you think you are, but you don't come to my school and act like you own it, you got that?" he whispered in my ear having me pushed against the wall by my throat. "I suggest yo--" "Hey man what the hell are you doing, let her go" This boy said who came through the door. "What are you gonna do about it Bryson?" Daniel replied pushing against my throat harder with each word, I started to see dots in my vision, I couldn't breathe.  Bryson rushed towards us and punched Daniel in the nose, making it bleed. While they were distracted I rushed out of the door. I ran until I saw a bathroom and went in. As soon as I walked in I immediately regretted it. Of course it is that girl. I walked into the stall trying to calm myself down, I can't let them know I can fight back.  Let me recap and tell you why I am here. As you should have put together already, Diamond is not my real name. I had to leave my home in Italy, leaving everyone I ever knew and loved, this includes my family. I learned how to fight when I was younger so I could protect myself. Now here I am and it is useless.  After calming down I went to the sinks and splashed water on my face and touched up my makeup. Finnaly I gathered the courage to walk back out to the hallway. I needed to find my classes. As soon as I walked out though I walked into a wall, or should I say a chest. I backed up quickly saying sorry, and ran the opposite direction, even as he called after me. Slowing down I took the time to look for my schedule, oh god no, Daniel still has it. I had to walk back to the office and asked the lady for another schedule. She looked at me and said, "But darling, did I not just give you one?" I had to quickly think something up. "Yes, ma'am you did, I just happened to have misplaced it." She replied with, "Well then, I will be right back." A few minutes later she returned and said for me to put it up. I thanked her and went along my way. Out in the hall I found my first class with little help. I knocked on the door and the teacher said come in.  "Hello, and you are?" She asked me politely. "Hi, umm, I'm new here and they said that I have you this period?"  "Ahh, yes, Diamond correct? I am Ms. Violet, you can sit right there."  I walked to the only emty seat in the back corner of the room. Half way through the class a boy walked dressed very similar to me and he looked straight at me. He was slowly walking towards me while the teacher was calling his name. He told me "Get out of my seat." with an attitude from hell. I looked at him and said, "No, there are no other seats and you can't make me get up." I replied with the same attitude. He bent down and whipered in my ear saying, "No I can't make you, but i'll give you two options: Either you get and find another seat, or I will pick you up and sit you in my lap." The way he said it sent shivers up my back and I said, "I dare you..." All of a sudden I wasn't sitting in the chair but the strangers lap, and the teacher's voice came back into play, she said "Both of you to the office now." He said, "Yes ma'am," and started to carry me to the office. "Let me down," I yelled at him. He simply replied with, "No.'' We walked right past the office and outside, well I guess it can be a good thing to not have parents at home. He threw me on the ground and told me, "Listen princess, I know you are new and all, but when you are told something just listen and it will turn out better for you." He strolled off back inside the building while I decided that I had enough for one day. I got into my car and drove home, or can I even call it that? On my way home I decided to grab something to eat, so I pulled into a diner down the road from my house. While eating, in walked Daniel and Bryson together. What they got into a fight and now they are all buddy buddy. I decided to leave the money on the counter and hurry out the door, but just my luck they saw me. "Hey sweetheart," oh god, it was Daniel. I tried rushing out the door but he caught my arm. He whispered in my ear, "Don't you want to stay and eat?" I replied, " I already ate now get off of me." But he said, " I didn't mean food, baby." I ripped my arm out of his grasp and said, " Go be a damn pervert some where else." and stormed out of the door. Finnaly I am home, I thought. I went up stairs and took a long shower, calming down. I am exahsted. I went to bed as soon as I got out of the shower not even bothering with clothes. Now I get to sleep.
