Myoeng-dong somewhere in the past Night around 8:00 pm   "Cabbage everyone, it's fresh, flavorful and crunchy this is nice for your dinner tonight," Ysabella shouted as she looks for more customers, it's beginning to have a cold night and she didn't even bother to have her sweater and jacket but even though she must sell her left cabbage so that she can call it a day for her.   "Ysabella, it's getting late maybe we should call it a day besides we sold many of our cabbages and that is great we will have a marvelous dinner with your father, come on now let's pack," her mother said as she guides her to pack their cabbages.   Ysabella, grew up from a small village, living a simple life together with her father and mother.   "Okay mama, you can go home now and fix our dinner, please cook my favorite soup mama. I can take care of myself here, I'll be going once I am done here okay? Go now mama," she said as she shoves her mother to cook for their dinner for tonight. Her mother can help but laugh at the silliness of her daughter.   "Are you sure you can carry by yourself, dear? It's pretty heavy you know."   "Yes, I am sure for this lot of cabbage I eat every day how come I can be so weakling. I am strong enough to handle this thing, easy peasy mama, well? Go on mama I'm starving," she said and they both laugh. Her mother slowly picks her cloth handbag and turns her heels while waving her.   Ysabella was left alone in the busy street after then and decided to pack and clean their area, they were only renting a small space and they needed to treasure it, they always cleaned their area before leaving so that they can't keep them out in the marketplace. After she had packed, she meticulously checked if she had forgotten something and after checking all was good she decided to go.   As she was walking down the alley, it was dark and cold she used to walk down here for it is a lot easier to have her home, it was her shortcut but the ambiance was a little bit of change somewhat different but she dashed it away from her mind and just took her to walk. She was humming just to calm herself for the cold wind was starting to crawl in her skin sending her shivers down her spine. She looks around her and starts to walk fast when suddenly.   "Hello there dear what's the rush? What is a little lady walking down this alley in this kind of time aye?" a deep raspy voice whispered enough for her to hear it, it was 6 meters away from her from the man he is facing right now, how come she didn't see it? Of course, it was dark, she wanted to hit herself for asking such a silly question.   She should stay calm and just walk passed by the man. She walks and walks until she is just a meter away from that man until someone shouted.   "Help me miss!" a young child shouted and she could not be mistaken that it came out from a child's mouth. She looked at the man in front of her and there she saw the fury eyes that were already looking at her, she took a step back and roamed her eyes in her surroundings, she should see the child.   'Come on, come on where are you,' she battled herself as she looked for the child she didn't know why but she wanted to save that child in danger, the man in front of her is far much more dangerous.   "What are you looking at huh?" the man in front of her said and she could almost smell his breath, this guy should learn something hygienic.   As she put her eyes on the left side of the man, alas she found the boy, it was a boy and someone was gripping his arms.   "Oh my," she gasped as she held her mouth, there were a lot of them, three, she counts.   No four.   Five of them.     She held her back, good thing she has her o tanto, it is a small katana like, she has it with her every time she is alone going home. She holds her breath and is ready to attack even though she can't see a small chance to win it. She must attack the one who is holding the boy and they should run as fast as they can, she just hopes that the boy could run and not be molested by these dirty rats.   She runs as fast as she could, which makes the five men shocked. They could not believe that after all that she had seen them she would still fight. She swings her o tanto which makes the five men step backward which makes her pull the boy to her side. The boy held the hem of her skirt and looked at her. His eyes were full of fear and his hands were trembling.   "Do you think it is easy as that huh, you slutty woman!" a man with a bad breath shouted and walked to their direction with a full fist of his hand ready to smack them down.   She was slapped.   A hard slap that nearly makes her breath short and she can hear the boy pleading for them to stop.   She wanted to stand up but she can't even feel her feet and even her body.   'Damn! is this how my life ends?' she thought to herself as she could see the man looking at her down ready again to kick her, she was just waiting for it to hit her but she heard the noise of a horse coming.   "Get your filthy hands off with that woman and that boy," a deep masculine and authorizing voice said which makes the man standing beside her ready to kick went pale.     "Big brother!" the boy shouted and she was starting to see dark spots in her vision and she can't understand all of the commotions in her surroundings and all went black.
