A Kiss & A Shared Wound

                Zayn Pov- "I Anna Connors reject you Alpha Zayn Black of the Howlers Pa-" and with that I woke up all sweaty and my heart still broke with the memories of two years ago. I checked the time and it was 4am so I decided to take a cold shower to calm my self down from the nightmare I just had. I am 250 years old and I have killed more people and wolves than I can remember but the memory of being rejected by Anna haunts me like a nightmare. After my shower I mind linked my beta Leo so that we can go and train before everyone rises. Of course he complained, he always complains when I wake him early because he is cuddling with his dear mate. "Leo I don't have the whole morning, so get your a*s in my training room before I chop your head off!"  I exclaimed through our mind link. "You seriously have to dial it down with the threats Alpha" he said as he entered the training room. Yeah he was fast but that was only because his house is below mine so all he has to do was take a lift to my floor. "Well if I do then I would stop living up to my reputation as the 'bloody Alpha Zayn Black' and that is not good for business now is it." It was more of a statement than it was a question. "Well they do not know half of the story they should try living with you since you were born then I'd listen to their fake news" he made his way to the punching bags and picked two and hung them on the rack. I didn't entertain that statement and we started punching the bags, after a while when the bags were split open we sparred and punched each other until we both bled. This is why I love training with him, he doesn't hold back plus he is the best fighter in my pack after me, he once took on 180 rogues by himself while I was away on a business trip with humans and that was about a year and half ago and everyone respects him for that. Of course everyone was there during the attack but they were not fast enough and deadly enough. After the sparring session where we broke each others noses, ribcages and knees I went for a run on my human form because my wolf 'Amoux' refuses to come out ever since our rejection, he only comes out when it is time for war in which case he gets to rip people apart and murder them brutally just to ease his broken spirit and release his rage, after all being rejected twice is not at all fun, its like being hit by all the bombs in the world and then have the tallest building on planet earth to just fall on you. "you definitely are right with that one" huh he responded. He blames for the first rejection because Cynthia was the daughter to Alpha Coby whom I killed and eradicated his pack altogether because they were bad, evil wolves and that is when I met her and immediately after she felt the mate pull she was quick to reject me. Then he blames for Anna too and to this day I still don't know why? "Of course you do you just won't admit it"  he retorted. "you mind helping me with the run Amoux?"  then that is it just silence, he just went all silent on me. After the run I felt a whole lot better and all healed up and it was time for business. *****     Aria Pov- I am seriously having a bad day today because it is that time of the month and the bar where I work at decided to be crowded with men and they were getting drunk and drunk by the minute and I hate that. I work at Joe's bar- I know typical right? but life has not given me many options at all and all of this is the only way to survive the cruel world I am in right now. "hey sweetheart I need a beer right now" that was a jack a*s calling me, damn I hate 23 year old's! he just made me puke in my own mouth and swallow the puke right after. He was my original tormentor along with his other two friends and I nicknamed them jack a*s, baldie and i***t. "here you go, please enjoy" I said as I place his two beers on the table and he brushed my hand. So right about that moment I wanted to beat the hell out of him and chop off both his hands but that was not allowed because he is a damn customer so I did the next best thing, I puked all over him and it felt incredible then I ran to the bathroom to make it look like an accident-It wasn't I just wanted him to feel all the things he usually make me feel, which is disgust. I came out and saw Joe my manager giving a coupon for free beer for the whole week as an apology and they left. Joe was a good boss and in fact he cared about me more than my own family ever did, of course he did the right thing as a manager but he was walking toward me and he stopped and looked at me right in the eye "are you okay, do you need to go home and re-" before he even finished that sentence i yelled "NO!!"  He was startled and surprised at me so I added "I mean I am okay I guess it is just something I had for lunch it did not sit well with me but I am all better now" I  "Okay I would believe that except you did not have anything for lunch, you just went outside and smoked then drank a glass of water" he raised his eyebrow at me "Uhhh, well- you- see" I am so nervous I didn't know he paid so much attention to me, Oh God I sighed because I was stuttering and a bit sweaty. "Look you can stop lying and just go home for rest now" that was a command and there was no way I was getting out of this one, so I took my apron off and handed it to him. "Good now go home and rest and come back tomorrow with a doctors note that proves to me that there are no health issues or so help me god you will not work here until you do exactly that" He commanded again. Ohh God I do not want to go home now, or ever and now he is requesting me to go see a doctor that is really going to earn me a spotlight at home. Great, look I know he is a good manager and he cares for his workers especially me since I am the youngest but can he dial down the fatherly care a bit. Yeah I call it fatherly because Joe is a good looking 6'4 male with brown eyes and caramel skin. He has shoulder length brown hair and fancy moustache you would find on a guy called Carlos. H e looked like he was in his late forties but his strength  and charisma suggested otherwise. "Aria you are still here" Joe said as he exited his office finding me lost in my thoughts right where he left me. "yeah yeah i am living, you can relax" and with that I left, I honestly didn't want to go home earlier than I should so I went past by the ally which was mostly garbage and stinky then I climbed the fence and turned to the right. There were many trees close together and if you went past them you would find an abandoned field. It was peaceful and quite and safe her and I always came here whenever I was stalling so I couldn't go home. I am surprised that I never find anyone here but I am not complaining, I don't think anybody could find me here even if I died. I sat there quietly and gazed at the sky, then my own thoughts went quite and my mind was blank.
