Itzal went to his mother’s house to pick up some things from his old room, as Mia was determined to make his room the new guest room of the house. He didn’t mind lending the room to Amelia. He hadn’t used the room for years, but he still needed to retrieve some of his things before letting Amelia settle in. That was the only reason he went to his mother’s house that day.
