Amelia kept her attention on the passing landscape outside the window as the car headed to Mia's house. The silence inside the vehicle was uncomfortable.
She overheard the conversation between Mia and her brother, and even though no one had told her what the boundary Mia referred to was, Amelia had a pretty good idea of what it meant. Maybe she should talk to Mia to make it clear that she didn't need to worry. There was no chance Amelia would be interested in Daniel.
