I loved the characters and the inner struggles that they completely overcome after a considerable amount of time. Though they were in contrast, it&#8217;s amazing how Meghan Quinn structured effective ways to make them a match. She didn&#8217;t fail on representing the highlands of the town, using splendid narrative techniques to correctly show them.<\/p>\n<p>The ending was unexpected. I disliked Rowan&#8217;s way of handling it, but gratefully, it still paid off and didn&#8217;t become a disappointment. Overall, it&#8217;s a great story, a perfect introduction for Meghan Quinn, and one that completely summarizes her style as a romance writer.
