The man is thirsty for revenge and stops at nothing to achieve his goal.<\/p>\n<p>The book is filled with suspense and adventure as Jude is trying to become part of the faerie world, even though she is human. It seems to be a regular Sunday afternoon until a man in a long dark coat comes and disturbs their tranquility.<\/p>\n<p>Hearing a knock on the door, Jude runs to answer. Seeing the tall coated man, she calls her mom, who goes pale upon catching sight of the man. He is her ex-husband, the father of Vivienne. She ran away from him a while ago and now he came to retrieve his daughter.<\/p>\n<figure><img src=\"https:\/\/www.dreame.com\/resources\/media\/2023\/02\/the-cruel-prince-novel.jpg\" alt=\"The Cruel Prince Faeries\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>The man, called Madoc, kills the woman and his husband and orders the three girls to pack their things, as they will accompany him in the faerie world. The little girls grow up in a world where faeries hate humans but accept them as the bastard daughters of a faithless wives.<\/p>\n<p>Jude does everything in her power to fit into the new world and tries to befriend Nicaisia, Valerian, and Locke, who is prince Cardan&#8217;s friends. They resent her for not having faerie blood and enjoy tormenting the girl and putting her through a great deal of ordeal, such as drugging her with a magic fruit and making her strip or commanding her to jump off a tower.<\/p>\n<p>Jude is eventually fooled by Locke, who pretends to care for her. Disappointed and angered, the girl secretly ploys to get prince Cardan to ascend to the throne, even though he doesn&#8217;t want to.<\/p>\n<p>Working together for the well-being of the faerie world, Jude and Cardan will eventually fall in love. How will they resist the temptation of being with each other knowing that they belong to different worlds?<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"part2\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Part 2: Folk of The Air Series: The Cruel Prince<\/h2>\n<p>The Folk Of The Air Series is one of the most popular young fantasy book series online. The author, Holly Black has managed to create a wonderful, enjoyable read with twisting plots and well-rounded characters.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, the story is one of a kind, it&#8217;s flawless in terms of continuity and it depicts the events in a very straightforward manner. The Cruel Prince Series portrays a series of violent scenes, quite graphic I might add, so the books are not for the faint of heart.<\/p>\n<figure><img src=\"https:\/\/www.dreame.com\/resources\/media\/2023\/02\/the-cruel-prince-fantasy.jpg\" alt=\"The Cruel Prince Novel\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Fantasy novels are expected to be filled with action and The Cruel Prince doesn&#8217;t disappoint in that department. It has loads of graphic chapters full of bloody violence. What it lacks though are passionate scenes. We get some kissing every now and then, but the actual love-making instance is only implied. We just have to use our own imagination for that.<\/p>\n<p>The mix between faeries and humans is intriguing, as humans are considered inferior to supernatural entities. This doesn&#8217;t stop prince Cardan, a faerie, and Jude, a human, to fall in love. Their attraction towards each other doesn&#8217;t happen until later in the first book, so I like how the author first builds their frenemy relationship before making them fall for each other.<\/p>\n<p>I also like the fact that Jude is a badass girl, who&#8217;s not afraid of scheming and plotting in order to get what she wants. She may not have faerie blood, but she surely behaves like a supernatural being.<\/p>\n<p>Jude&#8217;s character has an interesting development throughout the series, as she becomes, from a mere human being, Cardan&#8217;s queen. Even more, she is the one who puts him on the throne, she is the mastermind behind everything.<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"part3\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Part 3: If You Enjoyed The Cruel Prince Series, Check Out This Book<\/h2>\n<p>If The Cruel Prince and the wicked king have drawn your attention, I suggest you also add Her Twisted Fate: Meeting The Demon Faeries Prince to your list of future readings. It&#8217;s surely a pleasant read, also revolving around the faerie world. The winged beings are just full of magic and wickedness, you are bound to enjoy every single page.<\/p>\n<p>Her Twisted Fate: Meeting The Demon Faeries Prince story centers on Mia Marcella Sapphire, a twenty-one years old reporter from Florida, who literally trips into another world, a faerie land.<\/p>\n<figure><img src=\"https:\/\/www.dreame.com\/resources\/media\/2023\/02\/the-cruel-prince-faeries.jpg\" alt=\"The Cruel Prince Romance\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>She meets a fay prince, Diarmuid, who despises humans and who is very good at hiding his feelings. He keeps his distance from humans until he meets Mia. He is cold and arrogant, but her nature will melt his icy heart.<\/p>\n<p>At first, Mia will struggle to find a way to return to her normal life, but getting to know prince fay will turn her world upside down and she will be torn between going back home and saving the newfound faerie land and her new love interest.<\/p>\n<p>What will Mia choose?
