Tasuki fired the shotgun at another flying demon and started to panic when nothing happened.
“Damn it!” He yelled and pulled out another few rounds of buckshot.
Kyoko was standing behind him with her hands over her ears and her eyes squeezed shut. She had her back against Tasuki’s so if she opened her eyes, she wouldn’t see the fighting. For some reason she could mentally feel each blow the guardians took for her… all for her. This wasn’t right, this wasn’t how it was supposed to be. The demons had come for her and the only thing standing between them was the guardians.
