I can’t believe my eyes… My lips part, and a smirk forms on his lips.
“Stella! It took you longer than I expected!” he chuckles, “And I missed you so badly! No more separate travelling for us! Do you hear me?”
He highlights this last phrase with his tone. Cassidy pushes me in the direction of my “fiancé, and I gulp.
“Don’t be shy!” my stupid aunt laughs, “You are an adult now! Kiss him! He’s been waiting for you for hours!”
“How?” I wonder, still in shock, when two strong hands pull me into a tight embrace.
“Private plane, of course,” Cain chuckles again, and with that – covers my lips with his in a possessive kiss. I try to push him away, but the force he uses is too strong to play games with him. He squeezes my arm badly, and I know – this is a warning to behave.
