Hearing that Zaine had not told his parents about my visit was beyond infuriating. I was nervous as it was at the thought of meeting them, but to now know that they knew next to nothing about me and I was likely to be an unwanted guest; and potentially someone they were far from happy about being with their son only made the whole situation worse. It certainly made me more anxious. I was dreading it all now, and wished for nothing but to go home. This whole visit could soon turn into a disaster, and going off the on-edge tone I was sensing from Zaine, I was not hopeful of it going any other way…
