Tabatha stood back as Kriss’s wings appeared in a soft flash of light and then he was gone. Glancing toward the alter, Tabatha saw Michael and Kane still up there and started to approach but stopped when a young woman with blonde hair beat her to it.
Alicia stepped closer to Michael and Kane, watching them closely. She saw how sad Michael looked and the expression on his face was breaking her heart. She walked up and took hold of Kane’s other hand not noticing how Nick was watching her just as closely.
