1784 Words
Ryana and Nicholas knew that they needed to find a way to see each other in private to discuss their next move. They were like two travelers in the desert, longing for an oasis — so eager were they to communicate with each other. But each step had to be carefully planned to avoid unnecessary suspicion. After much thought, Ryana suggested that they arrange a secret date at a small cafe on the outskirts of the city. She knew that this place was rarely visited by members of the upper class, and the chances of being recognized there were slim. Nicholas agreed, and they set up a meeting for the following evening. Весь день Ryana spent the entire day in a state of excitement. She kept glancing at her watch, waiting impatiently for the evening to come. Thoughts of the upcoming meeting stirred her mind, made her heart beat faster. Ryana imagined herself and Nicholas sitting at a table in the corner, talking in whispers, holding hands. These dreams helped her survive the long hours of waiting. When evening came, Ryana secretly left the mansion. She put on a simple dress that didn't attract too much attention, and threw on a cloak to hide her figure. Ryana walked the streets of the city feeling like a spy, and it gave her strength and determination. Nicholas was also very nervous. He checked several times to see if he was being followed before going to the meeting. His mind was filled with images of Ryana, and he longed to see her, to touch her, to smell her hair. In the cafe, they met eyes from afar and smiled faintly at each other. Riana and Nicholas chose a table in the most private corner, where no one could hear them. The waiter brought the menu, but they barely noticed it. Their eyes spoke more than any words. "Ryana, I've missed you so much," Nicholas whispered as the waiter left. "Every day seems endless without you. Ryana felt a shiver run through her. She looked up at Nicholas and saw genuine love and longing in his eyes. "I missed you, too," she said in a low voice. — I don't think I've seen you in ages." They sat holding hands and just stared at each other. They didn't need words to express their feelings. But they soon started talking, sharing their fears and hopes. Riana told Nicholas about her conversation with Anna Morgan, how they were developing a plan to resist the will of their parents. Nicholas shared his thoughts on what Daniel Clarke said. They discussed the possible risks and benefits of different solutions, trying to find a way out of this situation. "We must fight for our love," Nicholas said firmly. — I can't imagine life without you, Ryana. "And I can't imagine my life without you," Ryana replied, squeezing his hand. — But we must be careful. Our parents will stop at nothing to separate us. Their conversation was filled with tenderness and determination. They felt that together they could overcome any obstacles. Riana and Nicholas promised each other to be strong and not give up no matter what. But suddenly their idyll was interrupted by the sharp sound of a phone call. Ryana shivered and looked down at her wristband, where her father's number was displayed. Her heart began to pound in alarm. — I need to answer this, " she whispered to Nicholas. "It's my father. Ryana stepped aside and took the call. Henry Radisson's voice was stern. "Ryana, where are you?" You were supposed to be home an hour ago. Ryana could feel the blood draining from her face. She searched frantically for an excuse. "Dad, I... I was walking in the park. I didn't notice how time flew by. Henry paused, as if weighing her words. "Go home immediately," he said at last. — We'll discuss your behavior later. Ryana hung up, her hands shaking. She went back to the table where Nicholas was waiting. "I have to go," she said sadly. "My father wants me to come home. Nicholas looked at her with understanding and sadness. — I know it's dangerous, but we have to keep fighting, " he said. "Our love is worth the risk. Ryana nodded, feeling tears welling up in her eyes. She knew there were new challenges ahead, but there was hope in her heart. They said their goodbyes, promising each other that they would see each other again soon. Ryana left the cafe feeling both sad and determined. She knew that the road to happiness would be long and difficult, but she was ready to face any challenges for the sake of loving Nicholas. One eveningРиана, while walking in the garden, Ryana came across an old book hidden in a secluded corner. She opened it and found notes that might shed some light on the history of the feud.
