Daphne did not move for a moment, long enough for Riven to look over at her. “Come.” Her heart was still racing, but for an entirely different reason. Why had he stayed the entire night? Surely this could have waited until the morning to pick up? She took a moment to steady herself then nodded. “One moment.” Daphne stood and picked up the blanket that had been covering her, walking behind him she made her way to the bed to put the blanket back. She was not one to leave things lying around. After placing it on the bed Daphne turned to walk back to the desk but Riven was standing behind her. He grabbed her wrist and brought it to his nose, not breaking eye contact while he breathed her in.
