Raine's POV Isla had been on the phone for twenty minutes already, pacing back and forth near the entrance of the garage. I couldn't hear what she was saying, but I could tell from the way she kept nodding and gesturing with her free hand that she was deep in conversation with someone. I turned my attention back to the bike in front of me. The carburetor was clogged, which explained why the engine kept stalling out. I pulled it apart piece by piece, cleaning out the jets with a thin wire and wiping down the float bowl.
