JED'S POV
I watched Ana get out of the car in a rush and followed after her hurriedly. It took the presence of other students to get me to keep my cool and just watch her walk away. All I could do was rest on my car and watch her walk off.
Every step she took had me contemplating whether or not to run after her, hold her back and force her to stay by my side so I could keep an eye on her. Bullying her was my way of keeping her close without attracting any attention to myself, I couldn't have Maisie thinking she was a threat as I knew the lengths she could go to just to bring Ana down.
Maisie was a devil as far as I knew and she was possessive about me, too possessive in fact. If word of my unfounded attraction to Ana got out, she could skin the girl alive.
