Lyra had a much better time than she thought she would have, and the three walked back to her home laughing about some of the things they had been up to over the years. She was slowly finding her groove again between Brandon and Bianca.
For a split second, it felt like the old days when she and Bianca were best friends, and Lyra considered inviting them in for tea, but then she decided against it. She didn’t want to get too friendly too fast. Although things were going really great, she still felt she had to keep some distance between them.
