Sydney was a sweetheart, always telling me were going to be okay. I've just shifted 2 hours ago & she already knew everything. She's sad & depressed about what happened to me and my family, but she's glad she's finally here with me. Then I hear it, more wolf's. It was the time of the celebration that every wolf shifted and took a run. I knew they were coming this way, so I ran back to my room. I shifted back outside my door and went inside and put some clothes on. Yoga shirts with a tank top, it was hot now that I had my wolf. "I wonder if we will get a second chance mate" she says to me. "I doubt it Syd, I'm a loser, a nobody, I'll never be loved I don't deserve it" I claimed. "You stop that right now, if you couldn't tell by now, we are one & we are very, very special, you will see" Then I went to sleep. Nobody bothered me for the rest of the night. But I had to make breakfast in the morning. When I woke up I put on some clothes & ran to the kitchen and started preparing for the pack. I made sheet pancakes, a lot of them. Bacon, sausages and eggs too, as many as I could. As I'm standing there I feel a pair of eyes watching me, & then in walks Conner opposite where I feel the eyes. He walks up to me & punches me right in the face "You think we couldn't hear you crying when you when you walked away last night? like we couldn't hear you scream 20 minutes later, did you shift? I hope it was the worst pain of your life" Then he started beating me & I heard the loudest growl I've ever in my life heard. A man came running in thru the side door, pissed. He walked right up to Conner & pushed him away from me. Then I smelled it, banana bread mixed with vanilla, oh man it was the most amazing scent I've ever in my entire life smelled. "DON'T YOU EVER IN YOUR LIFE PUT YOUR GRIMY LITTLE HANDS ON MY BEAUTIFUL MATE AGAIN OR I WILL KILL YOU" Oh no, I thought to myself, he's my second chance mate isn't he? "Yes he is, and he loves us with a passion, you can tell!!!" Sydney said, she's so excited. Conner was pissed even more "YOUR MATE? SHES MINE!" He didn't want me, he just didn't want anyone to love me. "No, she's MINE, you rejected her in front of many, many packs last night, I wasn't there I had a flat tire & was on my way, my beta told me. He told me from the looks of it she's been hurt and a lot, was it you?" he snarled. "So what if it was? she's nothing, a w***e! Her parents hated her so much that they killed themselves to get away from her, her brothers too! She's trash, the lowest of the low!"

Ouch that hurt, but my parents didn't kill themselves, this pack killed them and my brother, Jacob did kill himself but I understand why! "That's not what happened Conner & you know it!" I finally spoke up, scared out of my mind. "That's exactly what happened, my father told me everything!" he screamed. "No! Your big, nasty, disgusting father and his followers attacked my family, killed them, my whole pack! Me and Jacob were the only survivers & he brought us here! To this, whatever you call it!! My brother was all I had left and you all made him kill himself! You all made him take his life!" I shouted. I didn't even notice my new mate was behind me now letting me scream my heart out.
