Lady Vanessa was not satisfied that she had done enough. Somehow she felt that something more could be done, if she was going to keep the heart of her lover and save her relationship, something more needed to be done.
She could feel it in her bones, she felt scared… How could she? A high born is scared of a lowly nobody… How could Stephan do this to her?
