What did I do wrong? Everything was going very fine but then suddenly, she broke the connection and ran away.
I got up casually and took another swig from the bottle of brandy and then I headed out of my house.
I could see Rebekka up ahead, walking hastily only for her to trip and fall, she got back up on her feet and then she started running.
Knowing that danger might still be lurking outside waiting for her, I decided to follow her and make sure that she arrived back at the clinic safely.
It was the least I could do, after all, she was coming from my house, I could not let anything happen to her on my watch.
